Where Is Hairy Maclary?

I was not happy with my purchase .... Flaps were ripped and pieces missing :( it did not say that in the description

This book is really a preschooler "board" book. The illustrations and most of the text are from Hairy Maclary's Caterwaul Caper. There are flaps with hidden items underneath - that is original to this book. I love Hairy Maclary books, but this one was a disappointment.

Great Book

Love the whole Hairy Maclary series.Not as good as the original Hairy Maclary book- but definitely fun. My toddlers love lifting the flaps, and it's brightly coloured and fun.

Great book if you haven't already got all the stories, but if you have it uses pictures from the other stories and adds flaps, I found it a bit disappointing.

Lynley Dodd is one of the very few authors to produce books for babies/very young children that adults can read to them without getting totally bored and that children love - and this one has the added advantage of getting them involved physically. The woman's a genius!

Lovely book

A great quality hardback and hard-pages book in this wonderful range about Hairy Maclary. It is a 'lift the flap' book and came in brilliant condition. A perfect gift.

Likevthw atory

We really love her books but have to agree with other reviews that this book is not up to the usual standard,mainly because what is hidden is not distinctive enough or really exciting to discover. The publishers have definitely missed a trick here.

Arrived in good condition and the story is great - my grandson will love it. Hardback is well made book with hidden characters

Excellent book, following on from the famous Hairly Maclary from Donaldsons Dairy stories. 2 lift up flaps on each page, and all the famous best loved characters too!

Hairy Maclary books are beautiful, both to read and for their illustrations. Have sent them to Australia as presents because they make good presents.

Where some marks inside (scribbles) - but nothing too bad. Did not realise it was a hard book but that was my fault.
