Steel Nails Hardener

This products works with my nails and keeps them strong. I have weak nails and they seem to break after washing dishes and cleaning the house, it has been weeks, and I still have some nails.... Yippee :)

This isn't just another regular nail polish that they put the word "hardener" on. It doesn't chip, doesn't peel and lasts for a week! I remove the old with nail polish remover, wash hands thoroughly (this is important to get the remaining remover off, which is very drying and leaves a coating on your nail that prevents polish adhering) then after nails are fully dry, apply a thin layer and let it dry completely (an hour at least) apply a second layer. Each day after apply one layer. In a week do it again. My nails are normally bendable and see-through paper thin. The tips are actually white and they don't bend! Highly highly recommend

I have psoriasis in my nails. I’m 53 and this is the first time I’ve ever had nails of my own. They have split and torn forever. Artificial nails damaged them more. This smells like rubber cement. Odor fades quickly. I used a bug spray one evening and my nails felt sticky after. Problem solved with a top coat of a “regular” nail polish. I’ve tried many, but they always peel when I take a shower, then my nails tear. Not with this! Stays on and stays strong. Highly recommend for problem nails.

I decided to write a review of this product since this is the 2nd time I've ordered it. I ordered it the 1st time through another company but when I saw Amazon had it I ordered from them since I knew I could get it faster. Hopefully my review will help someone who might have my same situation and you may benefit from my experience with it. I wore artificial nails for 30+ years. When I decided to stop my natural nails looked so bad. They were brittle, soft, split easily and would not grow. I used so many different products and so decided to go back to the salon and get gel nails. Well, since the pandemic hit, I stopped going to the salon and I needed something to use so I saw this in an ad and decided to try it. After using it for 4 months this is what my natural nails looked like. The product worked for me in this way. I had to apply it every day. Then when it got too thick, I had to take it off and start again, using it every day, applying one coat. The instructions don't tell you to do this, I did what worked for me and if you use this product you may need to use it aggressively too. I don't usually take time to write product reviews but decided that this was a product that really worked for me so if you have the same problem with your nails that I have I suggest giving this product a try.

but most of it peels off within a day or two. That is a not uncommon occurrence for me with nail polish, so I guess it's still worth 3 stars.

Love this product...I've tried many nail hardening products, expensive and not expensive and this one by far is the best. Dramatic results in repairing weak, splitting nails. My nails are also growing so fast, that weekly filing is a must. Apply one or two coats for a week, remove and begin again each week or so. An added benefit is that it protects any nail color that is applied on top of the hardener from chipping. It really is amazing and the price makes it the best value.

I can't believe this product! Due to covid I stopped going to the nail salon and my natural nails were a mess. They always have been soft and break easily. After about 6 months using Steel Nails I just can't believe it...my nails are a nice length and so strong, they look healthy and even nicer than when I had acrylics. I will never go back to the salon. I apply it just twice a week now, you can leave it natural or put polish on top. This stuff is the greatest!!
