Davosa Swiss Made Quartz Movement Men's Leather Strap Wrist Analog Watch Flatline Phase of Moon

This is an accurate moon phase. The moon indicator has been accurate for three months. It may need periodic adjusting, although I don't think it should as the moon is reliably consistent and the watch should be accurate over long periods. The watch is plain, which is not a bad thing. I have some flashy watches which look good but sometimes they seem too flashy, so I like plain and elegant more. This watch is plain and elegant. For example, plain white face, no hour numbers just markers. The date window is exceedingly small. This is about the most inexpensive, high quality moonphase you can buy and that's why I bought it. I like the moonphase (even though one does not need it for any practical reason), and if I ever bought another moon phase watch, I'd probably go with another watch that is a little more exquisite.

I really like the look of this watch. Good symmetry, nice contrasts, signed crown, solid movement and water resistance. Two complaints are (1) the name Davosa Swiss means that the word Swiss altars ing the dial twice, which strikes me as overkill; and (2) I think the strap is too wide at 22mm for such a slim watch. All in all, though, a lovely watch, especially for the price.

Watch looks great and gets a lot of compliments

Nice Swiss made watch at a very affordable price point. Watch is large but feels good on the wrist. Setting the watch is easy and it has been keeping excellent time. Moonphase is an added bonus.

If you are just starting your watch collection (or do not yet have a moonphase), the Davosa flatline moonphase represents the biggest bang-for-the-buck on the market as of December 2019. Great looking, low maintenance, and easily affordable.The Davosa team is very helpful and highly communicative. They relayed every step of the shipment to my door and answered all of my questions regarding the movement as well as how to operate the watch (they sent me a PDF).The moonphase cannot be set directly, so you will have to rotate the hands through several days until the correct phase appears. However, once done, it shouldn't need to be done again (am waiting for the next full moon to check accuracy).Pair this with a dark blue crocodile or dark brown lizard strap and you'll have an elegant look for a fraction of the cost of a JLC or similar moonphase. The movement is a Ronda quartz... nothing special, but it'll get the job done and remain reasonably accurate.
