Love this! Mesh is fine enough to keep tea leaves contained within. Fairly sturdy. So much easier to fill and clean than tea balls. Sits down low enough so tea leaves are all submerged when I use smaller amounts of water (6 or 8 ozs.) compared with other smaller tea leaf devices I have. Fits my widest mugs but I would prefer the “handles” to be just a little bit wider. The lid that also serves as a holder for the main piece after steeping is a great idea!

This is easy and versatile to use in a mug, or I make a big batch of tea in a 4 cup Pyrex.It cleans up well. I like it. I would definitely recommend it.

I have a cast iron teapot my husband brought back from Taiwan many yrs ago. I love it and have never had anything but loose tea since! Well, the teapot came with a mesh basket and after years of use, it was time for a new basket. I could not find the same one, so I decided to give this a try. Because of the way this basket "fits," it is very hard to pour tea with the basket still on the pot, but I have determined that after the tea has steeped, I can remove the loose tea/basket and it should be fine (the top of the teapot fits into the pot and this basket has handles that keep the top from fitting into the pot). If it doesn't work, I will update the review.

I got my hubs into drinking tea but only wanted to use lose leaf tea so I got each of us one of these. It's been a year now and they still look and function the same. No rust or damage. They get used almost once every day sometimes up to 5 and have no issues. Nothing really slips through the holes either. We don't use anything that is to small or powdery. I so recommend this.

I ordered two of these tea strainers and have been using them for three years. When they arrived, I thought the metal seemed very thin, but it hasn't been a problem, and it may actually be best that way because they don't retain much heat, so they're a comfortable temperature to take out of the mug after steeping your tea. One was misshapen when it arrived, but a replacement arrived promptly, and they have not been dented or warped with normal use. The holes in the side are tiny so you don't get leaf particles in your tea. I recommend putting them in the dishwasher regularly; this keeps them from getting discolored by the tea. I much prefer this to a tea ball, because there is no spring to fail and let tea leaves through. The lid also serves as a base you can set the strainer in after use to protect your counters. It fits well in a normal sized coffee mug.

Really like this infuser. Perfect for medium to small, tall to short mugs. Easy to clean. Tight mesh to keep your herbs in the infuser and not in the mug. Love the top that you can use for either a cover to keep the your tea warm or a bottom to set the infuser on when it’s taken out of the mug.

Hot this for my husband since he like loose tea. It is easy to use and clean. Nothing passes by.
