Beautiful
A very thoughtful and well written book. The author openly shares her experiences and allows the reader to take the journey with her, hearing the words of the trees and the stories we need to think about before it is too late.

Important messages from nature and some fun facts
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book based on the reviews. I can honestly say that I truly did enjoy it. I spend as much time in nature as I can and have had my own moments with trees, and I believe in the possibility of fey folk and other dimensions. However that being said, though I did thoroughly enjoy this book in it’s entirety, it did feel like I was re-reading the same story several times, but told by many different trees. This felt redundant to me, and it got a little arduous, maybe a little boring.I appreciate the messages behind each story which is basically love nature, be open to and with nature, and be kind to yourself on your journey through learning nature, be respectful of nature, etc. At first I thought it was odd that every tree signed off in the same way, but then I considered how basically all humans say “bye” before hanging up the phone and thought perhaps that was their version.I really loved the facts about the different tree species and the individual stories behind some of the more famous trees. I thought that was a great way to break up the stories a bit. Overall I’m glad I got the book and I will keep telling people about it. It definitely it not for everyone!

Loving the book/ tree
I found this book a year ago but i didn’t buy, suddenly it draws me back and finally i bought and read and i found it very interesting since i love trees and connect, touches, hugs and feel them. I feel bad not buying earlier, i guess after all this time it gives me more connection. Please i would like to have the journal along with it! Thanks

Certainly interesting, not difficult to read
This book is very cute and contains alot of meaningful lessons. It is easy to read and can be finished rather quickly. However, if you aren't into the concept of spirituality in a non-religious sense, this book may not be for you. You must be open minded to read this and get the meaning and benefit behind the messages within. I enjoyed this book. Would recommend to teens and early adults.

The Wonderful Wonder of Trees
I have always loved trees--their bark, their leaves, their PRESENCE in my life. I go to the woods when my heart is singing, when it needs uplifting, when it's lonely, when it needs to remind me to remind myself of who I am. When I was a girl, I would lie on the grass and look up and into the summer leaves of the trees around me, in awe of the colors of the leaves against the blue, blue sky.Once I discovered that what I do in the woods has a name--shinrin yoku aka forest bathing--I began guiding forest bathing sessions in order to build others' passion for time among the trees and to help people experience their own beauty by breathing in the beauty around them.IDK that I'll ever channel a tree's message as this author has but I loved reading the trees' words and found it interesting that they are words that I've felt from the beginning of my love affair with trees.I'm so very glad that my meanderings led me to this book and its author. I look forward to sharing her work with my clients and students and family and friends.Blessings Always,Paula.

Boring
I hadn't realized the author was so into the spiritual realm. I found the book a bit self-centered and tiresome.

Interesting perspective worth consideration
This book can be a quick read. Having made that declaration, pondering is key for an expansive communion. On one occasion, while working in a conflict zone, I had a full night of quiet and sought solace in mediation and eventually felt \ thought I "heard" a nearby presence. A stunted tree shared the small courtyard with me. While staying short of details unique to my self (body - mind - spirit) event, I heartily recommend time with a tree. Don't expect detailed "conversation" but rather an experience of extended time \ quiet bliss while other concepts await.

Off the beaten path but right on track!
Holly Worton's book might seem like it's a bit of a diversion from her usual offerings but it's really the next step on her path. Coming out into the open as someone who can receive (and interpret) the wisdom of the trees is a big deal for almost anyone because it's not yet fully accepted into mainstream consciousness and so it is for Holly, as well. I applaud her for her fearlessness in sharing this information. The book is well written and engaging. I often felt as if Holly were sitting across from me, happily chatting away about that day's adventures. Being able to 'hear' her in the words makes this book warm and inviting. She takes you with her on the journey of how she came to hear the trees and beyond. If you are willing to suspend your disbelief for a little while, there's much to be gained from what the trees have to tell us. I suspect there's a lot we can learn and with Holly Worton as our guide, we can't lose.Five stars - one of my favorite books of the year!

IF PEOPLE WOULD LISTEN
Because trees DO talk, and this is a beautiful guide to learning how to listen. I’m in awe of the powerful perception and literary prowess of the author. This story needs telling now more than ever and I am so thankful for it.

Buy this book. If you read it and follow what it says, it is potentially life-changing.
This book is wonderful. It has helped me to connect with the trees and nature generally. It has changed the way I view and feel about nature. Hence I feel it has given me a life-long gift, one that I very much appreciate. I also enjoyed the way the book was written, in that it was easily read, one chapter per day. The author wrote in a very honest and relatable way. I felt I didn't want the book to end, and was a little lost once I had finished it. But, with the passing of time, I have realised that the book gave me all the tools I need. It is up to me now to go out and explore and develop my own connection with the trees and nature.

bellissimo

Good and educational
Loved the book. Have the work book as well. And also a hard copy and the audio book. Read it cover to cover first. Then went through the trees in the order I saw fit. Works perfectly for me. Just as I did with the Obod course.

Nice concept, but delivery of it misses the mark for me.
I found it difficult to stay engaged in this book. The stories were redundant to me.
