First off, do not worry about the date. Like many of you, I thought it had expired. No. Read the comments and you will see that it is not an expiration date. I used it just as I would use any yeast. It was fine. I had absolutely no issues what-so-ever. It did take a while to get here, but everything was packaged well upon arrival. As I am not a professional baker and have not used a lot of yeasts, I cannot tell you if it is comparable professionally. What I know is that it worked as I needed it to in my great grandmother's saffron roll recipe and that was great for me! I'd totally purchase it again.

I am not happy with how slow the shipping is but I am not going to blame too much due to pandemic situation. The package I received yesterday (May 14th) has a April 2020 date on it and I believe it is manufacture date. Product from China usually put manufacture date instead of expiration date on it. It is also printed in Chinese that it will expire after 24 months. (保质期：24个月）I tried it this afternoon and it works well, just as expected.

The yeast worked great once it arrived, and my husband and I made some really good pizza with it. However, I ordered this at the end of April, and though it said there might be some delay in delivery (initially citing mid to late May as the delivery time, I believe), the yeast did not end up arriving until the end of June.

Pros: inexpensive, works.Cons: shipping from China took a long time. By the time I received my order, approximately 2 months later, the "Use by" date had lapsed. Instead of returning, I used them and I was able to produce bread. The seller/seller's representative did reply quickly when I reached out, but the shipping time is just unacceptable.

I waited over four months for this delivery. The packaging in China is much smaller than the US. I need to use two packs for my recipes as opposed to one normally. I don't notice any difference other than that.

It took 6 weeks to get, but no one else had yeast. The packets are not the standard 2 1/4 teaspoons. But all that said the yeast does it's job. I just made some perfect dinner rolls. Yes, it is from China, but I was not concerned since it gets baked in the oven.If yeast is still in short supply I'd buy it again.

I did not like not knowing the expiration date. Item is to be used in baking. However, since I am not sure if expired or not b have not used. There is a 2020.06.02E. If so item was expired before I received.

I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because they did refund immediately. I ordered it April 11. It got here May 22. I noticed the packets seemed really hard (not like powder). I flipped over, one strip expired April 13, 2020, the other April 15. Yeah. like 2 days after order and 6 weeks before I got it. I know it is a crazy time right now, and this yeast came from Taiwan (not PRC). So I wasn't even going to bother requesting a refund but then when I flipped if over and saw the expiration date, I clicked the appropriate buttons and they processed immediately. I could NOT find yeast in stores at the time but now seeing it occasionally. So...just...don't do this.

Received this so late and the yeast was hard as rock, I threw it in the garbage.
