Received counterfeit sights from Budget Tactical who were unaware
After receiving the sights I noticed the front sight tower was leaning over to the left and the front sight post had an additional tilt. The rear appertures were very poorly machined, with burrs all over and a dent in the CQB notch that pushed metal into the sight picture. Additionally, the holes in both sight bases (where the upper part is pinned in place) were elongated, causing lots of movement when the sights were in the up position.I contacted A.R.M.S. the next business day to request replacements, but they asked to see photos of the sights. After examining the photos I sent, they just e-mailed me to let me know that the sights I received from Budget Tactical through Amazon.com are cheap counterfeit copies of their products.Update: Budget Tactical gave me a full refund. They explained that they obtained the sights in acquisition of a gun store's liquidation stock and assumed everything was kosher. (I wonder if fraud was the reason that gun store closed?)...So be warned - the counterfeit A.R.M.S. #71L series sights are even finding there way into small gun stores - whether by unscupulous owners trying to trick customers -or- suppliers fraudulently distributing the knock-offs to gun stores -or- inventory obtained from a closing business, as happened here.

I received counterfeit / fake sights - not A.R.M.S., as stated in the description - BEWARE! FAKES!
I recently contacted A.R.M.S. about replacement screws for these sights and was asked the color of the springs which elevate the sights when they are deployed. When I told the customer service person the springs were dark / black oxide, I was told the sights are not made by A.R.M.S., and are fakes. Bravo Tac has not responded to my request for reimbursement or replacement. The mounting screws had very little thread engagement with the nuts, and while tightening with a dime stripped the threads. I was frustrated and put the sights aside, and installed some YHM sights I had on hand. I recently decided to try to recover these, and contacted A.R.M.S. and was told the screws were not my only problem.

ARMS #71L - GOOD TO GO!
I ordered these to finish a build I was putting together and I'm very pleased with them. They are the polymer versions that have a really great spring and pop up with authority and also have a steel aperture and steel front sight. The rear does have a dual aperture for short and long range but also has an added bonus of a CQB notch in the top of the rear. If you're looking at front and rear Magpul sights and black works fine for your build I encourage you to give these a serious look and you'll be glad you did.

Chintzy.
Mounting on WW SRC .308 I debated getting the Magpul MBUS pro sights or these. Wish I had bought the Magpuls, even for more money. Polymer material seems really cheap. Spring catch was not that good. Front sight was missing center post when I received. If you're putting these on a $500 AR, fine. But if you have a good rifle, look for better sights. Sending these back and going for the Magpul real steel sights. Really surprised WW features these sights. Not good enough for my SRC.

Cheap looking, feeling, but...not?
I've had the product for about a month now, and I've had several hundred rounds through the sight. I have them mounted on a 7.5" AR-15 SBR with an AA piston setup. The front sight is mounted on the piston gas block. I've shot 120 rounds through the rifle in 45 seconds on full auto and the front sight did not melt. I didn't expect that. The sights do not look particularly high quality, and honestly they really don't feel that high quality. But beyond all doubt they perform flawlessly. I was ringing a 10" gong at 200 yards reliably with a 7.5" barrel. That is impressive. And I did that over a 3 week span with plenty of banging around in between. I don't know how ARMS does it, but this sight just flat out works. There is nothing close to the #71L's at their price point. I recommend them to my friends and family now. I use to be very apprehensive about polymer sights in lieu of metal, but the truth is you can't be afraid of change. If you can spend $70 on a pair of polymer sights why not? They work, isn't that the whole point?

failed after 50 rounds
I purchased for use on Windham SRC cabine. They worked perfectly out of the box without ajustment but after 50 rounds the front sight flipped out of the holder when the rifle was shot. To make matters worse I then accidently stepped on the piece while looking in the grass for it and one of the ears broke off. I still can use it but now the sight will occasionally jump off when a rifle fires. I think it was just a manufacturing flaw but not sure.Anyway I am looking for something better now.

there are numerous better options available
For slightly more money, there are numerous better options available. These weren't terrible but they wouldn't be my first choice when it counts. They lost zero after 75 rounds(seemed to hold better after I adjusted them back in twice), were very clunky and seem not to be of quality manufacturing. Back-up only as far as I am concerned.

Ive bought Swan mounts all metal in the past. These are good quality. 4-Stars because price is excessive for what you are getting. Magpul ones do the same and are less expensive
