Always good books to read

As they attempted to visit other islands, some made it very obvious that they were not welcome. Where human sacrifice and cannibalism was most times considered the norm, a word of warning needed to be well heeded!This is just one book in the amazing series Christian Heroes: Then and Now. Although challenging with real and many times dangerous/sad situations we read this as a family during family devotions. (WARNING: It does have a cannabalistic ending!) This is a really good book. You can tell he really has a passion to be a missionary. He is preaching in the Pacific islands. He has trouble trying to get around to the islands and wants a boat, but the London Mission Society wont let him. He keeps trying to preach the gospel even though it's hard to get to different islands, and God rewards him for it.
