Teva Hurricane 4, Women's Sandal

Beautiful colour- love them! The thick moulded sole is very comfortable and I hike unmade, stony paths and rocks in them with really good traction. Straps can be adjusted at front and back to fit my foot and when correct, they hold my feet in postion very well. Hotter than flipflops but better for sturdy walking. Fitted the same as my usual shoe size.

Great comfy, sturdy well made Teva’s perfect for my daughter’s big trip. The pattern is nicer than we thought and goes well with her silver toe nails!

I can not recommend this sandal enough. It was amazing. I booked 2 x 40k charity walks over two consecutive weekends (long story was intentional) I am an experienced hiker, however on the first weekend I wore a pair of walking shoes that I had just put some new insoles in. Needless to say they wrecked my feet. After a week of painful toes and blisters I was really concerned that I wouldn't be able to complete the second walk the week after. I panic bought these sandals after a recommendations from one of my friends as last ditch attempt to be able to do the second walk. When they arrived I wore the sandals all day and did a lot of research and fiddling around to make them fit properly. And honestly they were so comfortable from the start. I walked a very difficult part of the south Devon coast, on the hottest day of this year, up and down some near vertical hills sections and these sandals were amazingly comfortable the whole time. My only two points I would say about these were that my feet did get sweaty underneath and they did become a little sloppy but once dried off and reset they were fine. I'm not sure how they would fair if it was heavy rain, I think they would become a bit annoying. The second point, the triangular connection on the ankle did rub my foot and had I known that I would have put a plaster on before the walk as it did blister. but I think if this was a casual walk neither of these points would have been that bad. I bought a wide shoe as my feet spread and that was perfect for me, if not a little on the wide side. The foot bed is very spongy and comfortable and its mounted on a very sturdy sole. I would highly recommend these sandals. I wish I had found them earlier and saved a few toenails but hey, I've got them now!!

Excellent product. The sole has good grip and there are three velcro adjustable straps to keep foot stable.

I bought a pair of these over twenty years ago, I have used them for walking, going in the sea etc. all those years. The sole finally came off one, and though I intend to stick it back on and it will probably last, I thought I would treat myself to a new pair. It took a while to find some like the original design; as with all companies they feel they have to keep changing things which is annoying, but these are pretty close to the originals I bought all those years ago. If they last / perform as well as my old ones, I will be very happy! I use them for walking, paddle-boarding, kayaking, wading around in the sea, climbing over rocks...they dry pretty quickly, I haven't even looked after my old ones very well! I don't tend to rinse the sea water off, but they have lasted non-the-less. They fit beautifully and are fully adjustable (the old ones and the new) and I love the blue colour (my old ones were red). TEVA - don't change the style!! Please carry on making these ones! I might need another pair in twenty years' time......!

I bought these sandals for an active holiday where I'd be walking around a lot. They've trekked around Greece on beaches, hills and uneven terrain and they haven't hurt my feet once. Their grip seems to be quite good too, apart from on wet smooth stone. They're very comfy, although not as comfy as the Teva Hydratrek, but only just. They're good sizing too, I'm usually an 8.5 but size 8 fit perfectly. Worth the price!

Wore these all summer and for long walks, and never had pain. Highly recommend

I have been looking for a pair of hiking sandles that are comfortable and sturdy. These are exactly what I wanted. I have worn them on walks to the beach there are waterproof and dry quickly. I have worn them on a hike. They are really comfortable, I have a wide foot so sometime these type of sandals are too narrow. They have adjustable straps so are really practical and also pretty to wear. Like them so much I. Buying a second pair!!!

Not as fashionable at the xlt2 but this sandal is pretty good buy. The problem with tevas in general though, is how the last toe is somewhat squashed by the strap but if you choose to size up the sandal ends up like snorkeling flippers.

Si vienen amplias en cuanto al ancho, sin embargo, no afecta su funcionamiento. Pensé que eran alas de mariposa pero son flores? Definitivamente un básico para reducir nuestra huella ambiental pues, no dudo que duren más de 10 años de uso, además de ser super versátiles, para el super, para ir de camping, al río, andar en bici, pasear a los peques, etc

Muy amortiguadas. Demasiado anchas, sobra mucho alrededor, por lo que el pie se mueve. La suela superior desliza un poco, al ser tan anchas y no ser de gamuza. Tampoco llevan gamuza protectora en las tiras. Hay que pedir una talla mas de la que usas. No me parece el modelo mas adecuado, comparándolo con otros.

Dopo averle acquistate per me, anche mia madre ha voluto queste Teva. Fantastiche, comodissime e super consigliate! Nota positiva: il tallone è perfettamente “ammortizzato” quindi favorisce lunghe camminate senza avere alcun fastidio.
