U-MAX Greenhouse Polycarbonate Outdoor Garden Greenhouse Walk-in Portable 6'(L) x6'(W) x6.6'(H) Adjustable Roof Hot House

I chose this greenhouse because it fit my space and I liked the look of it. I unfortunately only had myself to put it together...wish I had more able bodied adults to help when I was doing it. Anyway, I used folding chairs to prop it up, but it still fell down in the night before I got it done. It took me 3 whole days, not hours. I replaced the folding chairs with a nice sized ladder and that helped a great deal more, plus I could reach the higher spots better that way. Remember to remove the part numbers on the metal parts before you cover them up with the windows or you will have to unbolt them to take them off. Also, the instructions are not very good. I am a very detail oriented, literal person so I found a lot of issues with the instruction booklet. It would have been nice to have a hotline to call to send pictures and chat with. Also, use gloves when handling the windows or the edges will cut into your fingers...worse than a paper cut. All injuries aside, I'm am still happy with the outcome of my greenhouse.

It was a pain to put it up, took over six hours. Half way through putting it up a storm hit and nocked it over. Re-straightened some of the metal pieces and made it work. I dont see this durable enough to last multiple years but it is good enough for now. I like the window roof open or close option. It keeps plants a little bit warmer in cold weather (If the foundation is perfectly level to the bottom of the greenhouse.) I dont regret buying this, but I wont be getting one of these again. Next time Ill just build my own.

To make for easier reading a larger instruction booklet would be a benefit. A better documented instruction booklet would be of additional effort to try tt. Masking tape or duct tape is handy to make assembly easier, when a part calls for multiple bolts to be inserted in a grove tape will keep them from dropping out. The poly-carbonate "glass" edges can be difficult to insert into grooves. My suggestion on how to assemble the greenhouse is to go through the instructions page by page and insert the proper bolt count into each piece and tape them in place. Line up all parts in the order they will be used then begin by assembling the base. A cordless drill or impact driver with a socket will speed assembly. The wrenches they provide are worthless. Be alert, some steps are not clearly defined in text relying on low quality drawings to convey important information.November 2020 - No insulation value that I can detect, inside temperature overnight is within 1° of outside.July 2021 - it lasted less than a year. The plastic window panels kept blowing out. We would reinstall them; every time more panels would blow out. The last time 4 panels blew out and 7 were partly blown out. Then we noticed some of the panels were cracked along the edges. It was not worth the effort to try to reinstall. We dismantled the piece of junk. The metal went in our recycle can.Absolutely the worst purchase I ever made.

NOT easy to assemble - took 2 people - 3 days - lots of patience and even a little beer - LOL. 9million parts - we had to build in garage & move outside. REMEMBER TO SQUARE UP YOUR BUILDING BEFORE INSTALLING SIDE PANELS - directions do not call for it - but it's a must.Still had to anchor outside - it's flimsy - but even w/ all the blood, sweat & tears - excellent greenhouse - our citrus plants love it - nice starter greenhouse which is what I bought it for

Once put together the greenhouse is pretty sturdy. Have had a few 40-50 mph wind events and it held up very well but you do need to anchor it properly. We used screw in ground anchors to hold it down in liew of concrete.It is absolutely a two person assembly job! The walls are very flexible until you get the four sides together. Not hard but pretty tedious with all the screws. I recommend a drill with nut driver bits.

By following the instruction packet that is enclosed in the box you will have to take apart several steps that you have already done (that are difficult to do with the flimsy frame that doesn't have any support until your 5th or 6th step, unless you have 3 other people helping you, and then it is very poor support. Was unable to fit the pieces together following the instructions which made me backtrack my steps 3 times to put in pieces that should have been apart of the earlier steps. This caused the cardboard like plastic panels to fall out multiple time and start to damage the sides of the panels making them unable to fit back into place. I was unable to completely put it together because the pieces would not align in the later steps making it impossible to put it together. I can say i followed the instructions as they were written out, but it is confusing at times and very poorly written.And for a month been trying to return this but company will not pay for shipping and will only offer a small percentage for the amount I paid for it back. Total rip off every direction and in order to get my refund I was made to change my review and give them 4 stars. Can we say extortion.

A lot of screws and nuts to install. Although a valiant attempt was made, the directions were not ideal and it's helpful to have some mechanical skills or at least good intuition on what they want you to do. Some of the directions were outright wrong and would not have worked, others would have been better if done differently. A few times, there were no directions for some of the steps.

I had a rough go at this greenhouse in the beginning. The company contacted me, and they sent me a new frame. My dad, my brother, and I put this together on Saturday in 5 hours approximately. We’re still missing one piece which the company is sending me. The directions are a little difficult to read, but the video in the listing makes it much easier. I want to thank the company for making everything right with me!
