2.5mm to 3.5mm Headset Adapter Chat Talkback Replacement Cable for Xbox One, PS4, Turtle Beach Headsets with 2.5mm Jack

I have a Turtle Beach EarForce X11 that I bought for the Xbox 360 years ago. I bought this cable for use with my Xbox One. This cable works perfectly for game chat and replaces the old cable that connects from the headset to the controller. I have the newer Xbox One controller and have updated the firmware on the controller.I can't speak to how this would work with other headsets, but this is a terrific solution for the headset that I have rather than buying the Xbox adapter.

Hey everyone. Can confirm that this cable works perfectly with the first gen Astro A40s Tx/Rx Mixamp.My headsets also support a talk back feature (so you can hear yourself talk). This worked flawlessly as well.As far as durability, the cable seems to have adequate thicc shielding. The connectors are also quite beefy and feel built to last.Value-wise, they a reasonable compared to similar cables on the market. All this cable is missing is RGB.

Astro Mixamp Pro and XBOX One Controller with 3.5mm jack, this cable is perfect!I first bought this cable to be able to plug in my Turtle Beach PX22 Headset directly into the new Xbox One controller with the 3.5mm plug. This cable did not work at all. Made an awful buzzing sound and just didn't work.However, I bought an Astro Mixamp Pro and a new headset (Siberia V2) and this works great! I can plug this cable directly into my XBOX One controller without the need to buy an XBOX One Controller Adapter! So this DOES work, despite what the A40 guy said previously.Just make sure to turn your mic on once in game and in the XBOX One headset/mic options. I didn't and thought it didn't work at first.I deducted one star because it didn't work with the Turtle Beach PX22 Headset. :( I am a very happy customer though because it worked on my new Astro Mixamp Pro!*UPDATE* - It is now March 2nd, 2017 and I am now having to replace this cable. It started failing about a month ago, but this cable worked great and I am buying another.

Worked fine for about a month, then with light use stopped working. This item was not robust or even standard in quality I fear. I made sure not to twist, pull or otherwise mistreat the cord as that would put pressure on the plugs of the devices as well. (XBox One Controller and Turtle Beach Tango headset). Have tested standard microphone headset with controller, and it works fine. So it's not the controller.Worked fine till a week ago. Problems started slowly. Now, will transmit the mic sound to my party just fine, but I have to play their voices through my speakers rather than "headset only" option so I can hear them. So one of the interior cables has broken.

Worked very well from February til June, now my friends all hear echos because the cable got slightly bent, doesnt seem to be from misuse, and I'll be buying another two just in case, if these break I will look elsewhere

This cable is EXACTLY what I needed to make my Xbox360 Turtle Beach X31 headset work with my Xbox One.Note to others: You will need to use the 3.5mm (Output) on your TV to go to the (INPUT) on the transmitter for the X31 and then use this cable for chat from headset to controller. Your Xbox One -HAS TO- have the 3.5mm on the controller for this to work. It works great! Only thing is I cant mute my chat audio or change the chat audio level like the original cable, but thats fine. Better than buying a whole new headset!

This cord does exactly what it says. It connects directly from my Xbox One Elite Controller to my Astro A50s and Astro A40 MixAmp. My only regret is the right angle plug at the controller. The new version of the Xbox One Controllers and the Elite Controllers have the stereo headset adapter integrated into the controller. The stereo jack is to the left of the expansion port causing the right angle connector to sit where the tips of my left fingers rest. When I use the paddles under my Elite controller, the cord gets bumped or interferes with the paddles, see attached photo. My online buddies tell me they hear annoying scratching and popping when I rotate the connector around because it is either in the way or I'm fiddling with it. I recommend the straight connector for these controllers. I expect those of you using the stereo adapter or PS4 controllers will prefer the right angle connector.
