Works really good!
I bought this for camping and hiking. So far it has charged my phone or battery packs flawlessly. I was really skeptical of a solar charger this small to actually charge as fast as an outlet. In bright sun it is as fast as an outlet charger. I plan on picking up a couple more for my family. I am really impressed! I wish I had known about this before I bought a small generator for charging all our electronics.

Very Satisfied!
I purchased the Sun Jack solar panel in case of an emergency. I tested it a few times and now I'm hooked. I charge my batteries daily with it. It does work well on the car windshield but works exactly like electricity in the direct sun. Now I want all the sunjack products. This is like purchasing insurance. I'm so so glad I have this product.

Charge your cell phone with sunshine!
Using a USB voltage meter, I observed that this panel pushes an average of .85A at 4.85VDC. This is more than enough power to adequately charge up power banks / battery packs. The small form factor is awesome... even when completely unfolded, the solar panel is smaller than a sheet of legal size paper. Absolutely fantastic.

What a nice solar charger
What a nice solar charger. It works just as described. I added a piece of wood , so my cell phone wouldn't get so hot in the mesh bag. Thank you for such a nice product.

Don't over look the 7w SunJack
This is perfect for you charging needs outdoors! After back country, event, and car camping I found that I was out of luck with keeping my 5c IPhone charged. As a survivalist I was looking for a lightweight small device to keep electronics charged as well in emergency situations. Crank lights and devices were not doing the trick since they were not putting out enough voltage for my iPhone to recognize as acceptable. I had an event camp out coming with a group called Royal Rangers and needed way to keep my phone up. As a single parent with a child that couldn't come on this trip and go back to the military setup of I'll make comms at a certain times to extend battery life other than that my phone will be turned off. After spending a couple months over winter and into spring researching, I landed on the 7w SunJack. I have been nothing but pleased with it. So far it has gone to a Pow Wow with no electric outlets available and on a few day canoe trip. It has out done my expectation for a solar panel. The battery will charge your phone 3 times at least off of a full power pack that comes with it. I plugged my phone in at night and left it charging till morning a couple of times. Also, I keep this in my bug out bag when not camping and pull it out monthly during inventory of the bag. The battery pack usually runs 75-100% charged so it's ready for an emergency or a camping trip. The panels charge the battery really quick from what I have found within 2-3hrs went from 50% to 100% while it was also charging my phone. Granted this was in the middle of a field with no obstructions. My only con is the LED lights in the power pack are not bright at all in the sun. There were times when testing it at home and in the field that I was sure it was broke or not charged. However, for the sunlight I could not see the lights telling me it was charged, charging, or on. By just cupping my hands around the lights on the power pack solved that issue. If you are looking for a small and very reliable solar pannel to charge your devices when camping or in an emergency situation, You Found It!

Great gadget during emergency.
Great item. The battery is charged, then charges my cellphone in no time. And charges my Kindle Fire. Also used to power emergency led light during power outage. Great to have around. I did buy a second battery as backup but haven't needed them both yet.
