The unit is quite compact and you have different settings probably so if you find the lowest setting is not as effective you can then press the button to boost it onto ultrasonic although it does then make a mild buzzing noise probably like an industrial pest repellent. Or the 3rd option is to turn the blue light off.them in the insect plague we had been suffering seemed to have completely gone. It's been about a week now, and we are essentially bug free. I will never unplug them.

Before buying the Fly-Bye I had brought a smaller insect zapper which did not have much success. The Fly-Bye works a treat, I leave it on constantly and I am always amazed to see how many flys and moths have been zapped. Well worth the price which is no more than other less powerful insect killers.

The whole thing is made from a high quality plastic. The light is bright but not too bright. it is light weight and small size Travelling with this is easy and can be simply hung up. Very compact for its power and works great. buying it for summer holiday . Comes With USB it can be loaded anywhere, mosquito killer lamp can charge with laptop/car charger/power bank/plug charging.any way it is a Great product

I read all the reviews before I bought this, most of them were really good so I thought I'd give it a go. Now that I've got the mosquito zapper, I got confused so I've reread the reviews and Ive realised that most of the reviews are reviewing a completely different product. My zapper doesn't have "settings"as mentioned in one review or anything to hang it with either. My zapper isn't really a zapper. It uses a blue light to attract the mosquitos (like a normal zapper) but when the mosquitos come near the light, the fan sucks it into the chamber below. I'm a little disappointed because I was expecting something different and more like the reviews. Still, it was cheap at a tenner and it kind of works. It just doesn't have adjustable settings, it does not zap and it has to be plugged in at all times to work. It can't be "charged up" as another review suggests. There are other things too but all in all, 3 stars

Not sure if this is going to work, to me the uv light does not seem bright enough to attract much . I have an issue with fruit flies and although the machine has been on for 2 days, there aren’t any dead flies in there yet.

This is such a waste of money... Does not work wish i never had rushed a purchase and tried to cut cost.Only thing that does work is it turns on and makes the noise and the lights... Used over 3 weeks and not one fly although in a room with them and it's useless apart from consuming electricity

I am really pleased with this Mosquito killer lamp I bought if to put in my greenhouse because I have been bitten badly this year by Mosquitoes. I put it on at dusk and leave it on all night, I go down in the morning and it always has dead Mosquitoes in it which I then clean out with the brush supplied I then put it on charge for the following night. You can use it anywhere in the house and I am going to try it in the conservatory to kill any flying insects in there. You can just use it as a lamp for camping or you can use it with the killer part of the lamp on as well, Great little product.

Totally useless, bought it to catch midgies, saw them enter the trap, left running 24hours. Opened outside, nothing in it, they must have got out through the holes. Reviews are not all for this item, lots mention it zaps insects, I can confirm it does NOT zap
