Kit did not include fridge line adaptor.
This product was so easy to set up. The only issue was that the kit did not include an adaptor for the fridge hose connector. Issue resolved by going to Lowes for the part.

Perfect for connecting your refrigerator to a tanked Reverse Osmosis filter.
This worked perfectly! While I already have a water hook up for my fridge, the water being fed to it is normal, unfiltered water. I wanted to be able to get water to it from my six stage reverse osmosis filter and this kit was exactly what I needed. The tubing is thick and durable and the connectors are of good quality. The length of the tubing was almost perfect, I ended up cutting off about five feet of excess tubing. Connecting everything was incredibly easy. All you do is firmly push the end of the tubing into the needed connector and that's it. It's all very easy to figure out and it came with everything needed. I now have pure water and ice coming out of my fridge. The only nightmare is running the tubing through the cabinets, but that's all on me. BTW - to the seller, I received two kits for some reason. If you send a shipping label, I'd be happy to return the extra kit.

Water connection was a breeze
What a lifesaver this was. Recently bought a new fridge, never cared for the filtered water out the door because I grew up using Britas. This made tapping off the sink waterline a breeze. I know they used to have to be attached with thin copper lines and gave people trouble. Took me about 15 min to get the water running, super convenient.

GOOD VALUE & QUALITY, BUT REQUIRED $30 IN EXTRA PARTS to fit to a 3/4" water line.
Bear in mind the water line you're hoping to connect to. The easiest & nearest connection for me happened to be a 3/4" water line to my washer. This required parts not in the kit: a 3/4" - 1/2" brass reducer ($8.32), a 3/4" - 1/2" pipe bushing ($5.90), and a 1/2" brass nipple ($4.68). Plus I also needed plumbing putty ($2.98), securing clips for the 1/4" waterline ($2.97) and a 1/4" - 1/4" water line connector, which (surprisingly) is not included in the Metpure Kit. ($4.97). Total $29.82 at Home Depot. Quick, easy installation, as claimed? Well, not in my case. But (so far), it is all working fine, no leaks.

Works but be careful inserting the tubing
1/4” quick connect sprays water. I have cut the plastic tubing square and pushed it all the way in. I’ve recut the tubing 3 times to start fresh but its literally spraying water and unusable. I’ve installed these before and this part should be the easy part. Edit, I found out that I must have disloged the o-ring in the quick connect by pushing the hose in crooked the first time and therefore would never go in all the way. I took a small screwdriver and turned the oring upright so the tubing would go inside of it, and it worked perfect.

Easy and quick to set up
I never leave reviews. But I have to. I was freaking out thinking I didn't have a water line for my new refrigerator. My washer hook up is right below where my fridge is. It was the easiest hook up possible. Ran the line up thru the ceiling into my kitchen. Connected the adapter to the washer water pipe. Easy peasy. Seriously

Great kit
Great kit. I’ve looked everywhere for how to add a water line to our fridge from the washer water line. This included everything needed except for the nut the goes from the polyurethane tube to the fridge. Great value for the money and everything connected smoothly.

I recently used the Metpure Ice Maker Fridge Installation Kit to set up the water line for my refrigerator’s ice maker, and it far exceeded my expectations. Living in an apartment, I was a bit nervous about doing the installation myself and potentially causing issues. But to my relief, installation was a breeze. The universal adapter tee fit perfectly with my existing water supply setup, saving me the hassle of making extra trips to the hardware store for additional fittings. The instructions were straightforward, and I managed to complete the entire installation without needing any extra tools or help. I even joked with my wife that the kit seemed like it was designed by Samsung (our fridge brand) because everything fit the fridge’s water inlet so perfectly! One of the standout features for me was the quality of the tubing material. It’s flexible and apparently durable, making it easy to run through tight spaces inside my cabinets without worrying about cracks or kinks—just like the tubing that originally came with our fridge! Plus, there’s no plastic taste or odour in the water; we get clean, fresh-tasting water for our ice maker. Overall, this kit is an outstanding value for anyone looking to set up an ice maker water line with minimal fuss. I highly recommend it!
