The diamonds of the few most coarse grits broke down pretty quickly upon first use but settled in and still cut very well after a lot of use. For the price this is an excellent set. If you use the Ruixin type sharpener you will get your moneys worth out of this stone set.

The 80 grit really grinds down a dull edge, making sharpening a very dull knife go rather quickly. Be ready to clean the diamonds off. The fact that it goes up to 2000 is awesome. A 1000 grit finish will shave so a 2000 grit finish is almost a surgical scalpel.

So far they have worked great, longevity will be the true test. So far iam very pleased.

I have not tried these yet. They were a good value for the money so I thought I would buy them and give them a try.

my knives have never been this sharp.

These diamond stones do not hold up under normal use I've tried them with and without water and the diamond grit just falls off in use. So now I need to find another better brand I guess.
