Amazon were the only market place to sell these null modem adapters at a great price. Quality item and an essential for older/retro computers and serial devices. Two of them are included in the package.

Because serial is not exactly current technology it can be difficult to tell both what type of cable you need and what type of cable you are buying. Sellers don't know the difference and even if things are properly labeled the terminology and jargon might as well be hieroglyphics at this point. After purchasing the wrong ones, and buying the "right ones" but receiving completely different mislabeled cables, this item allowed me to get my DB9 - DB25 Epson Thermal Printers working. I still don't know exactly which cables I purchased or which I needed, but these fixed the issue regardless.
