Very good book.
Very good book. The book tells in details what to do if you are interested in losing weight. Also recipes are list in the back. This is a book you will not want to put down when reading.

Had this book when it first came out and enjoyed many of the recipes in it
Just replacing an old friend. Had this book when it first came out and enjoyed many of the recipes in it. Either lost it along the way or one of my children borrowed it from the book case and still has it. Great inform information and well worth the read and to follow the eating advice inside. 31 years ago I was in need of changing life style and eating habits and bought the first book the Diamonds wrote and it turned my life around. I am still at my age over 70 tipping the scales at 170 and with a 32" waist. when I started 31 years ago I had a 34 inch waist and it was expanding rapidly.That all changed thanks to the advice of these people and a whole lot of will power.

Excellent healthy information, delicious recipes
I lost 50 lbs in 5 months , I only exercise 15 minutes three times a week , Energy level was amazing. I have tried every diet plan, pills,and have spent so much money ,struggle with weight after my last pregnancy, I love this book , I lost it andI am so happy to have found it again on Amazon.

Love this book!
I had this book years ago and decided to get back to a time when I felt great, and it was when I followed the principals in this book. I am on week three and feel great! I can't imagine going back to eating how I was. I eat pretty healthy, but this book explains what to eat together/not together and what times to eat what. I have had no bloating and many other issues I normally have even when I had a pretty good diet. It's true, almost every single thing wrong with our bodies can be traced back to what is on our forks!Love this book!

I'm almost done w/this book and find it very interesting and informational. I will be applying the suggestions. I am however a little disappointed in that some topics don't go in depth, they say to refer to the original 'fit for life' which is what I thought I was buying. The food pairing info is precisely why I was interested in this book due to a friend's referral, so I'm not sure what further info is given in the original. Since I don't have a personal testimony to the success of what he suggests, my review is just that I enjoyed it and it sounds logical to work.

Lost that 5 pounds right away!
I first bought this title decades ago, thought about it recently, wondered how the Diamonds had fared following their advice for 2-3 decades, so I bought this updated version.The advice is as good now as it was 20 or 30 years ago. I am blessed with high metabolism, have never been really overweight, but had been struggling with 5 pounds that I wanted to lose. I followed a few of his recommendations and lost it in about a week or so and that was several months ago.Plus, I feel GREAT. I love this book
