Praxis II - Principles of Learning and Teaching has been a tremendous help in my studying techniques . I am taking in April 2024, and I am using the techniques they have in this book. It helps so much and the wording is easier to understand. I especially love the online extra's that they offer. I definitely recommend this book.

The study manual was a bit used but in a way it was nice to see someone else’s notes. This manual is good for marking up with highlighters and pencils/colored pens. You get one exam at the end of the manual with explanations of the correct and incorrect answers for the 100 questions. It’s lightweight and easy to take with you to study. If you have test anxiety it has a section to help you get past it.

I only have my initial impressions of the guides, but note that the test taking tips are sound, especially on steps that many just don't feel are necessary, like rest, proper nutrition and exercise. Additionally, the guides have an approach that allows one to study in a method that has been tested sufficiently and proven to be successful. I'm short, the guides have the content and all one needs to do is study it well. I'm looking forward to digging in deeper to the guides, as well as receive the Free DVD in order to enhance my knowledge and test taking approach for the upcoming exams so I can be eligible to be a full-time teacher, lateral entry option. Thanks for the great guides to thr ETS tests!

This was ok study material. This is good for the information, but not for the practice tests. The actual material on the test is more thorough than this material offers.

I think that it is really useful and definitely has helped me a lot to prepare for my upcoming PLT Exam in August. There is a lot of useful information in this book, and I would definitely recommend it to others! This book also gives you a lot of great study tips and what to expect when you go into the exam day, it's great!

So far so good. The book is everything they said it is. It was recommended by classmates for Praxis II exam preparation. I perused it and find out it covers a bunch of theories and strategies from my classes about teaching middle and High school. I love that I can review all of that from just one book.

The Study Guide is beneficial to me in a tremendous way. I am new to the education field. I practiced law for 17 years. I didn’t have a handle on what the PLT exam entailed and when I would ask people, I never really received much guidance. This study guide helped give me focus and direction for how to prepare for this exam.
