Amazon Brand - Solimo 2 Refill Blades for Electric Trimmer

It’s worthless. I bought it to shave and it didn’t do anything. It’s as sharp as a butter knife and as effective at shaving as a spoon. Don’t waste your money!

I have a Philips OneBlade, but at over £20 for 3 replacement blades, I decided to look elsewhere. Found this, and decided to take a plunge for the price. I have only used this on my face, and it's used 2 to 3 times a week on short stubble. It performs exactly the same as the OneBlade! It does feel a little cheaper in the hand, but at £13 odd for the unit and £5 for 2 replacement blades, you cannot complain. For anyone using it on short facial stubble I can highly recommend!

Despite being well-packaged and well-made, the Solimo Electric Trimmer isn't really up to the job, compared with the market-leading Philips One Blade. Based on my first experience of using the Solimo to trim my body hair, I think I'll return it. It left fluffy hairs behind, nicked my skin once or twice and became quite hot, rendering it generally quite painful to use. I was looking for a more affordable replacement for Philips One Blade, but I think I'll just have to bite the bullet and continue with their expensive blades that get the job done so much more comfortably.

I have a one blade but was sick of paying stupid prices for the blades, so thought I would try this the whole unit and two blades came to the price of a two pack of one blades, it is not the most powerfull shaver ever and needs to be charged 16 hours before the first use, for the price it is ok and so far has been ok doing roughly what the one blade does.

Bought this to trial as I normally use a one blade, but have found they are not as sharp as the one blade system and does not cut as close. that said good product for the price.

Shockingly bad - covered in cuts and grazes from one use. Will stick to oneblade

Firstly I shave my head daily to stubble type look/feel for a few reasons which I won't go into here. I have a One Blade but replacement blades are expensive & for head shaving, don't last long.Comparing the two, the Amazon brand one is cheaper/blades are slightly different in that you don't get indicator strip thing/device while same length, it's a bit wider (but not enough to be problematic in any way)/has same type of charging cable/has same pivoting type head/runs about same length of time on a charge (though 16 hour initial charge is a tad annoying)/cheaper overall & I now have Amazon's version on Subscribe & Save so I can shave my head daily without 'indicator strip' hassle.With all these smaller shaving heads, you need to do multiple passes over same area. But it's quick/easy to do with these. I go in every possible direction a few times over my whole head. Brush off hairs from blade every few passes. It takes me about 15 minutes to shave my head fully, I don't have much hair to start with (cause of daily shaves). Plus I struggle doing left side as I suffer from Essential Tremor, so that side takes a little longer to do. So it may take less time for you.Amazon's version comes with: device/blade/blade cover/mini brush/charging cable/comb attachments. Personally for me this Amazon version is my preffered shaver. I'll be sticking with this one overall. I've included a few pics of this Amazon version with my One Blade for reference.

I brought this the other day had it post to a lockers to pick up while I was working it came I took it out at work to charge it throw the packaging in the bin and when I reach home to used itIt’s don’t even work after charging for 10 hours

Das Teil rasiert nicht und brummt. Es scheint eine Delle auf der "Rasierfläche" zu sein. Rückgabe ist aber nicht möglich! Sehr schlechtes Produkt und sehr schlechter Service. Ich habe mit jetzt, Lokal, den original Rasierer von Philips gekauft. Der funktioniert super. Wer billig kauft kauft halt doch zwei Mal. Gelernt habe ich keinerlei "Hygieneartikel" bei Amazon zu bestellen. Die Gefahr auf einem defekten oder unvollständigen Artikel sitzen zu bleiben ist nur zu hoch

Salut !Cette tondeuse est une vaste bouse, elle ne glisse pas sur la peau, donc elle se cambre sur son articulation pour finir les lames perpendiculaires à la zone à tondre. Si c'était que ça, je bloquerais l'articulation, mais non, ce truc tire sur les poils et blessé la peau en l'irritant.Bref, Philips à encore de beaux jours d'arnaque devant lui, c'est pas cette daube qui va le remplacer.

Pega muchos tirones y el corte de pelo lo deja irregular, he tenido que devolverla tras solo dos usos.Imagino que dependerá del pelo de cada persona, pero lo que es en mi caso, ha sido decepcionante, una pena porque he consumido otros productos de la marca blanca de Amazon, Solimo y todos eran de calidad excelente.

Dunque. Come facile intuire è un'alternativa al noto prodotto che tutti conoscono ma ad un prezzo piu contenuto.Arrivando al sodo vi garantisco il funzionamento. Nel mio caso taglia praticamente come una lametta. Certo, la cosa richiede qualche passata in piu, 3 o 4 al massimo, nulla di sconvolgente visto che ci vogliono pochi secondi a fare un movimento "su e giu", voglio dire, nessun rasoio (forse i tosatori per le pecore, non lo so!) vi garantisce taglio lametta con una sola passata, questo mi sembra ovvio.Fatta questa premessa, se avete la pelle sensibile è addirittura facile che vi infiammi un po la zona se passate ripetutamente, proprio come una lametta, quindi fate attenzione.Pertanto... funzionamento garantito. Arriviamo quindi ai dubbi:1. Per le rifiniture io credo che richieda un attimo di allenamento, di 'prenderci la mano', perché fin tanto si tratta di passare sulla pelle, lui taglia senza pensarci due volte ma, se vogliamo rifinire, che so... creare un pizzetto o qualsiasi sciocchezza, bisogna capire bene come inclinare la lama perché altrimenti non taglia nemmeno l'acqua e inoltre aggrappa i peli strappandoli. Comunque sciocchezze ma che è necessario chiarire. Presa un po' dimestichezza e manualità, la cosa diventa comunque fattibile.2. Ricarica della batteria.Il manuale è ridotto all'osso e poco poco chiaro. Riporta che, prima del primo utilizzo, richiede una ricarica di 16 ore che vi garantirà 45 minuti di autonomia. Allora, innanzitutto c'è da premettere che nella confezione c'è solo un cavo usb senza neanche una spina, pertanto io l'ho dovuto collegare al pc (pensa un po'), ma nonostante fossero passate le 16 ore, la spia verde che mi informa si sta ricaricando restava ancora accesa, pertanto non c'è stato modo di capire se fosse realmente carico al 100% o no e, sul manuale, non è riportato nulla. Pertanto.. bo! Suppongo bisogna andare ad intuito! Diciamo che per 14 euro... poco male! Vorrà dire che dopo tre volte di utilizzo lo rimetterò in carica per altre 16h. Insomma, questa cosa è da studiare bene!3. Funzionamento.Il dispositivo pare non funzioni mentre è in ricarica. Con una lametta non so quante volte ci si possa fare avendolo utilizzato solo una volta fin'ora, ma io penso che, per una rasatura quotidiana, un paio di mesi ce li fate.Da quello che mi pare di aver capito non è che neanche waterproof, pertanto io ho evitato anche di passarlo sotto l'acqua, sia lui che la lametta. Ho utilizzato la spazzolina inclusa nella confezione anche se, secondo me, ha delle setole un po troppo morbide, ma con un po' di pazienza si riesce a pulire.Se vi state chiedendo se può essere utilizzato con la schiuma da barba... personalmente non lo so, c'è chi dice di si ma sinceramente eviterei, piu che altro perché penso vada a ridurre le performance della lametta ma questa è una mia teoria, sul manuale (come era ovvio immaginare) non riporta nulla. Comunque, tanto vale usare un rasoio classico se la vostra intenzione è usarlo con la schiuma.Beh, penso sia tutto!
