It no longer has 42 calories, now it has 60 calories. It went from 20 % iron (42 cal) to 6 % iron (60 cal). It also lost substantial potassium (600 mg potassium in the 42 cal, and now the 60 cal has 440 mg potassium. NOT AS HEALTHY. Plantation, please change it back and start making the 42 calorie blackstrap molasses again! PLEASE!

BEWARE!!! This bottle of molasses has only 1mg (6%) of Iron per serving. If you search through the Q&A like most of us do, apparently they were selling one with a level of 20%. I wish I didn't waste my money, but never again.

I first purchased Plantation Unsulfured Blackstrap Molasses (BSM) as a natural remedy to try as a cure for my severe anemia. To my pleasant surprise, after just three weeks adding it to my milk, coffee or hot chocolate, I began to feel much less lethargic and more energized. I continued taking it on a daily basis for the next several months. When I received my next blood test, my anemia was greatly improved and almost gone. Six months after, my following blood test showed no anemia. My red blood cells were well within normal range! I have continued to use the BSM on a daily basis and have not had anemia since. High in Iron, Calcium and Potassium, I recommend this product for not just as a remedy for anemia, but also for the additional health benefits it provides.

I bought this 31 oz bottle because I have bought multiple of the 15 oz bottles and figured more would be better and it would save the hassle of buying smaller bottles.I suffer from iron deficiency anemia and the 15 oz Blackstrap molasses helped me raise my ferritin (iron stored in bones) which is typically very hard to naturally raise.I SWORE by this stuff but I feel deceived and disappointed!The formula for their regular blackstrap molasses said it was a significant source of iron and claimed 20% of the Daily Value. This larger bottle is not the same nutritional content as the smaller ones, and the iron is only 6%, no longer considered significant.I am so disappointed over this. I feel if Plantation wants to formulate their big bottles to have a different nutritional value, or a lower nutritional value, than their smaller bottles, then they really should not pass them off as the same product with the same label. etc.Unless you specifically read the nutritional label, you'd never know the difference. Again, deceptive.Plantation either needs to make it apparent by changing their label that it ISN'T the same formulated product as the small bottle, or they need to correct the formula and make it match.This inconsistency is unacceptable.

I have purchased 2 bottles for my 90 year old mother who was suffering from dementia and anemia. Her personal and physical improvements have been amazing. The amount of potassium is what it made the big difference. For additional information research "symptoms on people with potassium deficiencies."

I take a tablespoon first thing every morning to maintain my blood sugar. Controls mood swings. Better then Prozac. If you go through mood swings you have to try this. It has to be Plantation Blackstrap Molasses, Unsulfured. Regular molasses isn't the same.

I usually use a hydroponics grade carb like advanced nutrients bud candy...But i thought "Hey I grow in coir I can add organics"So i gave it a shot...Guess what? This stuff is absolutely 300 percent better than using advanced nutrient bull crap.I'll always use this now instead. I'm at 4 weeks 3 days into flower with 7 inch colas on a 5 foot diameter scrog. The flowers just friggin popped when I dropped a teaspoon of this in each gallon for a week. I'm going to use this stuff all the way up to the final flush.I feel stupid for wasting my money on specialized carb nutes for all these years... live and learn I guess...

I was exhausted all the time and having panic, palpitations, jitters, weakness, hair shedding etc. Just weird symptoms dr. said I was fine just a little dehydrated. I decided I might be iron deficient and bought this on advice of many natural health blogs. After two weeks I swear I felt my energy return and other symptoms pretty much gone too. My only complaint is that it tastes god awful. Mix it in with hot chocolate or coffee every morning and you'll be good to go. I though I would never need this big bottle but I am already half way through. I will cut back on this now to maybe a few times a week instead of everyday but I am happy with the outcome.
