Far Superior Then a Standard Strip . . .
This is an absolute GODESEND! We have HD Satellite television that requires three plugs just for that equipment, not including our DVD player, the television itself and (*gulp* with shame) a VCR player (Hey, there are a lot of movies that I have that have yet to be released on DVD or Streaming!) and this little baby makes it SOOOOOO much easier, and in my opinion, SAFER, than having a bunch of tangled cords trying to fit into a straight line strip! We are still able to charge our two kindles, too!!!! My electrician who has just done some rewiring and outlet replacement explained to me why some of the outlets on the Powermid may seem "tight" - modern, good quality outlets are being made "tamper proof", where you have to push the plug in with more force than used to be required. This is allowing for the heavier chargers and Adapters being made today to remain safely in the outlet, rather than falling out. This is the type of outlet I just had placed throughout my entire home and I notice the same force used for those is required for the Powermid - and I like it! I love the "kill" capability on it, because most surge protectors don't offer that kind of protection. I love the covered power switch the best, as having cats who seem to be magnetically attracted to behind the entertainment center, I know I don't have to worry about them shutting it all down (and anyone with satellite knows that the dish reset is time consuming when the power goes out!). I plan on ordering at least TWO MORE, as I am extremely impressed with the quality and design of this product!

Super cool and very useful!
This is one of the coolest things I've added to my office. The flexibility of the nicely spaced outlets and the USB charging is a very nice feature. It also feels like a quality product. It has some weight to it and feels well constructed. Plus it looks cool! I have plenty of gadgets on my desk but I always get comments the Powramid. My work requires changing the devices I use quite a bit. Something like this is perfect. It gives you six outlets and USB and yet it takes up much less space than a typical six outlet surge protector. The small amount of space it takes up makes it so you can put it on top of your desk instead of under it. Saving time and energy from crawling under the desk to plug stuff in. I have two of them now, one for each of my work areas.

Great device I recommend, I would buy more in the future.
I am enjoying this very much as a surge protector for my devices. So far I haven't had any major issues with it, just a few. Though review may change. Pros -It is easier to find room to plug in devices even if they have a block on them. -It looks better, and more fitting for something on a night stand or desk. -Has good Joules protection. Cons -If an adapter is to big it still may block you from plugging things in. -Doesn't have a wall flush angle plug to make things more fit with the wall and furniture, would be nice though -There is a cap on top you need to take off, and press the button to switch it on. I thought it didn't come off, when looking at it for 30 min. -The cap can become easily lost, I wish they would redesign it and move the switch somewhere else. Though it is a nice device and I may buy more in the future.

Very high quality
This is all around a good product It has many outlets, all of which facing in different directions, so keep that in mind when deciding where to place it, as putting it in a corner would be awkward The blue light on it is visible, but quite dim, so it wont blind you passively in the corner of your vision All the outlets are faced at a very convenient 45 degree angle, allowing cords easy access upwards and outwards The power surge protection works well, although we havent experienced a bad surge hit it yet I have also bought the USB variant, which is useful if you need to charge something, but cant find an adapter (Although the adapter will make it charge faster than plugging it straight into USB) My only complaint is the cord is very thick, but not that flexible, it likes to curl into its packaging shape, so precision in tight areas may be tricky

These surge protectors are pretty awesome!
I have a few of these surge protectors and use them for everything from lighting to a countertop oven to my laptop... never have a tripped circuit and my electronics/appliances/lamps are working in good order versus running too hot at the plugs, which in some cases cause an appliance to shut off... not to mention protected from surges! I live in a newly renovated building that was built in the late 60's, but the electrical hasn't been updated in some areas and was having all sorts of challenges prior to putting the surge protectors in place. Definitely my go-to from now on... prices are very reasonable and it is money well spent! You wont regret investing in a few!

Cool design and great for bulky power supplies
Great surge protectors that I have been using for awhile now. Love the built in USBs for charging as well if needed. The design is different yet very hi tech looking. I purchased 2 of these for each side of my bed. My night stands came with cheap built in use chargers so these are excellent plus you have plenty of plug on space and they are spread apart unlike a normal straight power strip so you can fit all different sized power adapters into these especially the bulky ones. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a good surge protector power strip. They are also very easy to power on and off work the large push button in the center of you want to shut off multiple items easily.

Perfect solution for a desktop; VERY POOR instructions - no mention of a power button ANYWHERE, even though there is one. Fail.
I love the styling and functionality of this design. I cannot speak to the performance of the model because I've not had an occasion for a power surge within the first few hours of using it - THANKFULLY. However, I can say with certainty that the instructions and the packaging are truly terrible. There is ZERO indication that there IS a power button - not on the pacakging, instructions or the unit itself. I had to call customer support and explain to them that this was my second unit in 4 days, because the first also did not light up or work. The customer support agent seemed nonplussed and simply said that the power button was on top of the unit - under the clear cap. Ye...the BLUE light right in the center of the top IS the power button. You have to remove the clear cap and push the button on or off, then replace the cap. Absolute FAIL on the manufacturer's part for not making it clear that there is a power button. Even a sticker on the bottom or SOMETHING. How irritating.
