This is a great product. It works just like the name brand. The quality of the finished product is the same. The colors are nice and bright. Save your money and give this brand a chance.

The print cartridges were sometimes rejected by the printer, which would say to replace these cartridges. Removing them, cleaning contacts, and reinstalling them sometimes worked, sometimes not. They were unusable due to this. Also, the ink level is not reported so it is impossible to know when the ink is near running out. It turns out that the electronic chip on each cartridge is removable (the black had adhesive but was still removeable), so I tried replacing all these chips from chips in the Jarbo cartridges that these were replacing, since these chips appeared the same. Now all the cartridges work well for printing, though they still don't report ink level. Note: the original HP electronic chips are a different size and wouldn't fit. In their favor, I'll add that the price was a bargain compared to HP, and that's a major motivation, though I've noticed dramatic price increases in the aftermarket non-HP print cartridges recently (from $35 to $55).

EDIT (1/21/21): Updating this review to say that the manufacturer has updated their chips so these are now working with the latest printer firmware that came out in early 2020. The latest cartridges worked as expected. And seller offered a new set of cartridges (that they were confident would work as expected) in hopes of getting this review updated instead of just offering a gift-card bribe for me to lie in a review like so many other sellers do, which I appreciated. Will happily purchase these again in the future.-=-=-=-=-I have used HP cartridges along with two other generic cartridges in the past without any problems.This is just a poorly manufactured, garbage product that does not work in my printer. Printer shows the attached error when I install and then won't allow me to do anything; print, clean the print heads, etc.It's just frozen. Repeatedly reinstalled to the same error message. I put the old depeleted, generic cartridge back in and the printer recognized it no problem, so it's definitely this cartridge that's the problem, not my printer.Garbage product. Poorly manufactured.EDIT: it's the chip. Their description claims "With Latest IC Chip: Each 952XL ink cartridge was tested with the strict quality procedure to ensure compatibility with your printer and provide your printing with vivid color and sharp text" but that's just a blatant lie as these will not work if you've gotten a firmware update on your printer in the last year which most of us have. This was confirmed by the manufacturer via email, despite their description claiming otherwise.

I had to replace all 4 color ink cartridges and 1 black ink cartridge in my HP printer at the same. What are the chances that they would all be depleted at once? I found HaloFox Compatible Ink Cartridge Replacement for HP 952 XL 952XL on Amazon and thought I'd try them. I like using XL ink cartridges over the regular ones, even though the cost is higher, they last so much longer. In this case, they not only last a long time, the quality of printed page is EQUAL to the branded HP ink cartridges I have previously used. No doubt I will use these again. I thought they were great.

HP Printer stopped printing, indicating Magenta color was low. I ordered a full set of Halofox cartridges (You Toner Co.) and the Magenta slid right into place; however, the printer did not recognize the cartridge. As the pictures above show, the Halofox cartridges do not follow the exact form of HP cartridges which led me to believe they wouldn't ever fit. I My wife tried removing the plastic film on the cartridge (against instructions on the cartridge not to do so). I emailed the supplier with a request to return and they responded the same day, They offered replacement or credit; whichever I wanted. In the meantime, I re-installed the software and discovered that the black cartridge indicator was not grouped with the 3 colors, but was actually attached to the Magenta error message, with a little icon that was much smaller than the other color indictors. Bottom line: The cartridges do fit as advertised and the confusion was all USER ERROR. You Toner was very quick to respond to every email and sent a set of replacement cartridges for the one we ruined.??????? P.S. Did not understand the question above: " Easy to Recognize"???? ; therefore did not evaluate.

I bought this product for my HP 8700 series printer. It was A LOT cheaper than HP ink cartridges and my neighbor uses a cheaper brand for her printer with no problems. It worked when I printed out a test page and it worked a couple of weeks later when I printed out 3 sheets of paper. About a few weeks after that, I went to print something out and it printed out big blobs of ink and after that my printer said the cartridges were empty. No matter what I did, I could no longer get it to work...the printer just read empty. There was an extra black cartridge that came with it, so I put that in and my printer wouldn't recognize it no matter what I did. A total waste of money. I have since bought a black HP ink cartridge and, of course, it is working just fine.

The cartridges were great, but they stopped working because my HP printer 8715 said they were not original. I was forced to buy four new ones for about $ 170.00 dollars. I went on U Tube and found you could pretend to be serviceman and reprogram the printer.

It is always difficult to pay so much for ink from the major companies when there are options like this one at a fraction of the cost. It makes you feel like you are paying for a brand name and not what you should be paying based on the product that you are receiving. I was also unsure of what kind of quality that I would be getting paying so little in comparison. The great news is that I have been using these ink cartridges for more than 2 months and they work great!!! I would not only highly recommend it to strangers here on Amazon, but I have recommended them to my family for their printers!
