Worked perfectly
I removed a door lock because it was no longer needed, and I wanted to cover the unsightly hole it left behind on the door frame, so I bought this. It fit perfectly and it looks good. Was easy to install. I am very happy with the results.

Just what I was looking for
This is exactly as advertised. I used this to keep a door latched depressed (replacing the knob was not an option). Buying on Amazon may not have been the cheapest, but it saved me time. I skipped driving to the hardware store and searching for this specific part. It worked perfectly for me and came with screws.

Does not fit a security screen door.
This item will not fit the security screen door I purchased from Lowes. I don't know if all doors like mine have the exact same specs but the plate is a little too wide for the application. I could grind off the edge to make it fit but now the project is on the back burner. Bummer!

The plate covered the old striker whole exactly and was thin enough not to impede the door.
