It Is good to have these for a general idea of what something is. The middle of the ph scale is hard to determine with these, but it gives me and idea of what ph something is. So for that it is good at this price.

Easy to use, easy to read. I needed more for a lab in Chem class and these arrived just in time!

Excellent value for money! Perfect tool to start teaching kids about science. However, I definitely wouldn't recommend these for use in an actual science experiment where data results mattered. Household bleach only showed up as about a pH of 8, drain cleaner showed up as stripes/patches, some of the strips turned white (not sure what that's about), etc. I also noticed that when testing high pH items, such as baking soda, the test strip would turn bright blue for a fraction of a second, then all the blue color would literally drip off the paper and turn orange again. Looks like the dye isn't sticking to the paper. Although the red coloration (for low pH liquids) seemed to hold the color better. So, I give it 2 stars. Shipping was fast, it's super cheap, fun to play with, but I wouldn't trust the results in real-life scenarios.

Not accurate for science projects/labs

They are flimsy and inaccurate!! They are the worst I’ve ever had. I’m back to the ones i was posing before with the different colors across the top. This is nothing but cut up construction paper
