Excellent quality and durability, super easy to install. Great protection. If you’re planing to replace our old, dry out air conditioner pipe covers. This is the product you need. they are thick great quality. You can Cut to size. The Adhesive is strong, creat water seal and also has a flap to cover the adhesive giving a seamless look. good value for your money.

This has to be the very very BEST HVAC copper tubing insulation I’ve ever used. The 7/8” diameter fit the 7/8” tubing like a glove. The best thing was the glue to seal the seams was very sticky and secure but the canvas flap that covered the seam was the best. The glue that sealed this was tough and made a neat professional job very easy.

Works well, easy to install, and easy to cut. Great replacement option!

Awesome product!! It's extremely easy to use. The ability to have a custom fit was great - measuring, cutting, and adhering it was a breeze. It took 15 minutes including all of the heat resistant tape I added. I have noticed an immediate improvement in my system cooling the house (seemingly without struggling)! I have a dual zones system and especially on warmer days it seems I previously had to pick one zone at a time to run otherwise the system would get overworked and not cool very well. For the past week I've set both zones and the unit has kept up perfectly. I saw YouTube video from an HVAC tech who suggested this as a way to ensure your system is not being overworked and realized mine had been disintegrating for several years. During all of the annual HVAC check ups I've had, no one has ever suggested replacing the covering.

Nice material, came well-packaged in a 6’ box, and was an easy installation. Be aware that you will receive ONE 6’ piece, not a “lot of 21” as stated at the top, even though Amazon confirmed a 21-piece shipment before purchase. Not surprised, but they should edit the listing. Anyway, this stuff seems very well made and should last much longer than the standard foam insulation. The photo shows it before wrapping with UV-resistant line-set tape. Even though this insulation is better-protected than regular foam, the tape will make it last even longer. As most seem to do, I sealed the area where it enters the house with steel wool and a lot of gray putty… both cheap and effective. No specialty, preposterously-expensive ugly housings required.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Very useful product for sealing the pipes on external AC units. Super thick and offers a high insulation factor. The cost is pretty high for the size of the insulation that you receive. While the insulation has great adhesives for closing them you only get one shot at using them and if you incidentally come in contact with something else freeing it can be challenging and also damages the product.

Great product. Super easy to install. Removed the old, weather-worn insulation and popped this on. In total took less than 10 minutes. I like the extra material to cover the seam, worked like a charm. I plan to wrap in UV tape as well for added protection. This looks 1000% better than what was on there before.
