Love the item. The price is questionable. I've been buying these for atleast a decade. When did the price hike up an extra $10?

This cord is a must for anybody who does call work from their home! First. Every gig you have has different requirements -for whatever reasons. And if your jobs are like mine, no wireless anything. no exception. This is one of those great accessories that is worth the money. The sound quality both input and output is fantastic. And the Quick Disconnect allows your to switch from land-line to soft phone with almost no hassle! The length is very practical if you need to reach one the other side of your work space -that one thing you forgot to put on your desk before you plugged in... I use this cord with Plantronics QD headset and have had zero sound issues this far.

Bought this to use with Skype on OS X Lion and my existing Plantronics headset. It performs perfectly! I was a little apprehensive about buying the cheapest model in the line, but I can't see where I would need any of the features or software provided by the higher models. Both OS X and Skype saw the adapter immediately without any software or drivers needed. It shows up in the system sound settings, so you can even output music or any other system audio to it if you want to leave the headset on your ear and not bother your coworkers.

This as a must for any office environment that has Plantronics headsets... your staff can use this cord to make their phone headset an audio headset on their computer. Great for listeng to training videos or webinars or even Skype for Business/Lync calls. Highly recommended. We use Plantronics HW261N headsets with it successfully (single ear and dual ear headsets). We've found it works in Windows 7 and Windows 10 too. -m

It does what it's supposed to do and it does it well: Connect a Plantronics headset with "Quick Disconnect" plug to a PC via the USB port and make it available there as an additional audio device for playback and recording. I didn't even have to install drivers manually on Windows 7 64 bit.I've been using it with Office Communicator, Skype and GoToMeeting without any problems.

Work great! We converted from 2.5mm to these as we moved all our call center agents to Soft Phone. This product greatly improves the sound quality over a traditional jack. Works best with the higher end Plantronics headphones.Overall great product.

This Plantronics DA40 USB Adapter works excellently. It is plug and play and requires no drivers to use. It is a perfect fit for our Plantronics Supra business headsets.

the title says it all , if you want to cut the cost of buying a new headset , and just use this adapter instead for the same quality .
