Great Product!
I’ve used this product for 46 years! I love it! I first used it when, as a teenager, chorine from summer swimming tinged my blonde hair green. It hid the green! I currently use it in between hair coloring to keep my color looking fresh! Easy to use, no smell, and it really makes my hair look nice. It’s a great value and a little goes a long way! It’s an old school product that I highly recommend!

Really helps a tone down the yellow left from other chemicals and the atmosphere
I have naturally white white white hair and almost every single thing I use on it leaves yellow streaks. Even hair products that say they won’t leave yellow streaks. It’s so nice to finally find a rinse that will tone down the yellow. It seems to really help the condition of my hair.

Did what I wanted to beautifully
I am recently letting my hair go Gray. So I had a grape lending done, and it was quite expensive. The hairstyle is suggested getting this product, Rather than using those purple shampoos and conditioners, which only bleach out the hair further and make it look like straw. My hair was practically white platinum and when I used this product. Not only did it make it shiny, but it conditioned it and made it very manageable. Years ago I know people who used it and they said it got on their pillows and ran down their necks when they sweated, but that was the old Roux, and this one is the updated and fabulous Roux product that really does exactly what it says. My hair was almost straw, from all of the bleaching, used to get rid of the brown in my hair that remained, but now all I have to do is just get regular haircuts until my hair is completely grown out. The wonderful part is that I can use a variety of rue. Rinses to change the tone of my hair as I please. I used True Steel, But I may also get another one when I feel like being a little blonder, one day. Just be careful when you use it. Not to drip it on your clothes or towels or bath mat. I usually put it on in the shower on damp hair and let it stay and just rinse it quickly with a cold rinse, and then step out and style my hair. Whenever you use it, do it naked, or else you will surely get it on something. People say to wear gloves but I never do, and it does not stain my hands at all.

I think that there’s a small change…not completely sure 🤷🏻♀️
Interesting product. Goes on towel-dried hair. Then it’s combed and manipulated through via finger and/or a comb 🪮 Afterwards, it’s blow-dried and styled as per usual. I’ve not colored my hair for over six years, and I’ve noticed lately that although it’s healthy, my salt and pepper is starting to look a little more grayish and in-between the dark brown and white, which is actually sucking all of the color out of my face. My skin is pretty good and my features a bit younger than my earthly years, so I feel the need to add some of the color back so my features don’t completely disappear. Adding more makeup isn’t the answer. So I thought I’d give this a try, since application and wash out is relatively simple. I didn’t expect miracles, especially since the white in my hair is home dye-resistant, and that’s part of the reason that I stopped dyeing in the first place. Plus, I’m folic-ally blessed and my hair grows really fast-except when I get a bad haircut (and then it can’t grow back fast enough 😂). I applied it, very little…I didn’t know what it would do. I put it on with bare hands and didn’t see an issue with staining of the nails nor skin. I thought wow it’s actually adding some color back into my hair. I was amazed. Like my hair was absorbing the color up. I don’t use a lot of products and I use conditioning shampoo and that’s it so my hair care regimen is simple by choice. I washed my hands and blow-dried as usual, then I used a heat tool to style a little. And that’s the rub. I don’t see a big difference, but when I had finished putting my makeup on the usual way (light with lipstick, eyeshadow, some cream blush and powdered foundation in trouble spots), I could see that my face looked a lot more defined, like the contrast had been turned up a few clicks. So that’s wonderful. My silvers still shine brightly so obviously I’m not gonna fool anyone into thinking that I don’t have gray hair. So just to add to an already long review, I noticed the texture and shine is good, I don’t feel the product at all. It’s like I hardly put anything in my hair. Anyhow, I do like it. I think I’ll keep using it and see if anyone notices anything about my hair. I’ll update if I get any comments!

Great product. Covers gray.
Wonderful coverage. I’ve been using this rinse for years & it covers my gray as it grows out so I don’t have to color as often. I love it.

Hasn't washed out yet
I have naturally white hair in the front and white/gray hair in the back. I wanted to see what it would look like if I used a silver rinse to try to get the front to be closer to the back. I didn't like the color. It made my white hair gray... might be a pretty color, but I preferred my white. I washed my hair today... AWK, it didn't wash out! It's lighter than when I did it a few weeks ago, but now the back, which is naturally gray, looks like slightly purple and the front, is not as white as it should be. I'm hoping it washes out next time! I'm going to try to wash it with a cleansing shampoo instead of my usual and see if that will pull it all out. But beware.

Great Color Rinse
My go-to hair coloring, it provides a small amount of hold while covering the brassiness of my highlights. I've used it for years with no issues. It never transfers and washes out easily.
