Fun to build but difficult for me
The product and directions are top notch, like other Metal Earth models. I enjoyed building the Red Baron triplane, but it was difficult for me. There were a lot of small pieces and my hands are big and clumsy. I used my magnifying desk lamp almost the entire time to see what I was doing. Pliers, tweezers, benders, etc. are all necessary to build this model imo.The metallic red is quite striking on this model; however, it will scratch off if you’re too aggressive with your tools.Look at the directions carefully! Have fun 😊

Gorgeous Dreidecker!
The media could not be loaded. For metal model fans, this is a great build. It starts with delicate assembly, and ends up being quite a sturdy model. The metallic red color is a huge stand-out from the regular metal sheen of most models. I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone new to this genre (yet). After some easier model builds including a few aircraft, it’ll be a great challenge with a beautiful looking reward.

It only fits together in theory
Not my first metal earth, so I'm aware of the process. This one is simply too small and delicate to put together. Trying to bend tabs over where they run into each other since the tab is nearly the size of the microscopic piece. Not mention the fragility of the pieces. The base piece can't handle the pressure of the tab being bent over due to the small size. This is clearly a model that was theoretically possible, provided you had a team of four-inch tall sheet metal technicians.

Being cheaper than most models of the same type, you get what you pay for
Unless you're prepared to spend quite a while making sure all the pieces are bent into shape properly and have the right tools to do it, this project can crash and burn before it even gets off the ground. There are several small pieces, such as the seatbelt that attaches to the cockpit and smaller components for the engine, that need to be curved into slopes and semi-circles. However it can be very easy to crease them into 90 degree angles or even break them, which is what happened to the seatbelt. The larger pieces aren't really a problem as they're easier to manipulate and some have edges pressed into them where they're meant to be bent. The coloring is very well done and looks great. I probably wouldn't have gotten this if it was the basic metal models you usually see with no colored pieces. The decals such as the iron cross is part of the model itself, and not stickers you attach afterwards, which I think is a nice touch as it means everything it symmetrical and aligned properly.

Pay attention to the drawings
Nice kit. Went together well. Everything lined up well. I have built many of these metal kits. This was the nicest looking one with its' red coloring. My next kit to build is the Ford Trimotor. It is also in color. I use to see these Ford Trimotors fly over my house when they were coming from the factory. Long, long time ago.

Great models
My teen great grandson loves putting these together. He has so much patience.

Waste of time and money
So thin and flimsy. It's impossible to remove parts from the sheets without bending them to the point they're useless
