I’ve been using Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Spray Paint as a foundation for some of my restoration projects, like mirrors and frames that I later finished with gilding wax. It works really well as a base coat—the paint goes on smoothly, covers evenly, and provides excellent adhesion for the wax. The semi-gloss black finish is durable and holds up well over time, even on detailed or textured pieces. It is an amazing product, it covered everything perfectly, and had a very nice gloss after it dried. It is very very easy to apply and doesn’t take that long to dry. Also, I accidentally poured some water on it, and it stayed perfectly fine.

Supper product. With this one can I could manage painting 5 Fans. I did felt that quantity is less. But it's been a month since I painted and the quality seems good.
