Vapor Apparel Men’s UPF 50+ UV Sun Protection Short Sleeve Performance T-Shirt for Sports and Outdoor Lifestyle

A couple of years ago my doctor and my wife advised me to take better care of myself when it comes to skin care and sun protection. I started wearing swim shirts as part of my strategy to protect myself from sun burns and UV light. I loved the shirts. They are light weight, comfortable, and cool and dry quickly if they get wet. I have several of these shirts from a couple of different makers. Recently I purchased a new shirt from Vapor Apparel. The shirt arrived within a couple of days looks great and fit perfectly and the craftsmanship was amazing. The stitching was much more substantial to the other UPF shirts I have. I would recommend these shirts to anyone, not just for the Sun protection but they look great.

This was a great purchase! I am currently a bit out of shape (5'8" and 215lbs) and ordered an XL. The fit of the shirt was perfect, not too tight but not overly baggy, just the right amount of loose fit. I used it for a trip to Playa del Carmen for swimming in cenotes. The shirt worked perfect to keep me from getting sunburned and dried very fast after swimming.

I like this company's products, especially their t shirts BUT....Something is off with the sizing!First shirts I ordered were the Vapor SPF 50 UV Sun protection short sleeve shirts.I'm usually between a Large and a Medium depending on the manufacture, material, etc.Reviews suggested size runs true, and I wanted it to fit a little bit loose as I would be wearing it outdoors in warm sunshine at the pool, beach etc so I order a size Large.WHOA....... WAY TOO BIG!!!No question, had to return them all (bought several colors) and exchanged them for size Medium.The mediums fit nice, loose like I was looking for.... although usually a medium on me fits tight.But I wanted a looser fit, so alls well. I'm happy. And they are nice shirts. Comfortable. Lightweight yet seem to hold up well. I've probably washed them half dozen time now, slept in them camping, workout at the gym. They hold up well.Sooo..... then I see they make another tshirt called Repreve and these are made out of recycled plastic bottles. Glad to see plastic trash being put to good use, and with the positive reviews about comfort and soft material I decided to buy some.And they are nice shirts. Thin soft material great for warm climates like Phoenix where I live. Haven't had them long enough yet to comment on how well they hold up, but will up date in the future.BUT HERE'S THE THING.... both shirts are made by Vapor, both are your basic tshirt design, and both say on the item description "Fit : Runs true to size".So this time I order size medium figuring the UV Sunscreen tshirts ran big in my opinion, and I don't want to go through that whole return exchange thing again.And guess what.... this medium is way smaller than the UV Sunscreen tshirt medium.The UV tshirt in a medium fits me loose, but nice.The Repreve tshirt in a medium fits me way too tight! No question, they all have to be exchanged for a Large.So in review..... both are nice soft comfortable shirts, thin material but good stitching and so far seem to hold up well. Pricy yes, but you pay for quailty.BUT SERIOUSLY, WHY DO TSHIRTS BY THE SAME COMPANY FIT COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WHEN ORDERED IN THE SAME SIZE? AND WHY IS THIS NOT REFLECTED IN THE DESCRIPTION SOMEWHERE.Would be a strong 5 star rating, but points off for the messed up sizing issue.

I started working from home more often and needed to get out and take some walks to get some steps in. I'm really not moving around much in my house otherwise. I believe I read somewhere that t-shirts only have something like a 3 SPF, and I have already had a few things removed for skin cancer prevention, so I wanted to make sure I wasn't leaving my torso unprotected. This shirt fit the bill. It's pretty comfy. I wish it was a little longer or offered in a tall size, but I'm a taller guy so my experience may not match yours. It's comfortable enough for my walks and seems to be doing a good job protecting my skin.

These are one the best high quality gym shirts I found!Pros:1) The quality is pretty good - I have had these for about 2 months and wear it 1-2 times a week and I don't feel any shrinkage or wear and tear damage.2) They dry up pretty fast! I wear these to go jogging/working out and these dry up pretty fast after sweating on it.3) This product is very comfortable - I do think if you have an average body type, these are the perfect fit. I am 5'8 and 160 pounds and these fit perfect (I purchased size M BTW)!Cons:1) Price - these are pretty expensive ($16 a piece when I bought a few shirts) compared to the other drifit /outdoor shirts I found.Perfect for:-Gym (this shirt feels like you;re wearing nothing! lol)-Jogging-Summer activities

We're going on a trip to the Southwest, and being all red-heads, we need serious sun protection, so I thought I would try these shirts. I am a mom, but I didn't like the fit of the women's style, so I bought a men's X-Small. I tried it on when I got for sizing, and although it was a little tight across the chest (I'm relatively flat, 5'6", 120), the shoulders and other lengths were good (small had been very baggy in every way), so I kept it. However, yesterday I put it on again to check layering, and the lighting must have been very different from when I tried it on for size, because without even trying hard, I could see right through it in the mirror. Haven't seen how effective these are against the sun yet (trip is still upcoming - the rest of my family will try theirs), but I'm returning mine.

Super soft great fit. Works great and is super lightweight. Ordered 2 more colors.

Nice and light, easy to pack, easy to wash, quick to dry. Perfect for travel. I paired the short sleeves with identical color long sleeve shirts of the same type/make. Layering that way gave me comfort and flexibility, plenty of adaptability to all temperatures when paired with a travel vest. They didn't build up too much odor. Affordable too. If these ever wear out, I would buy them again.

Passt nach Auswahl mit Hilfe der Größentabelle einwandfrei. Trägt sich sehr angenehm auf der Haut.Den Sonnenschutz kann ich noch nicht endgültig bewerten, noch zu wenig in der Sonne eingesetzt. Qualität OK. Der Preis etwas hoch.Würde es wieder kaufen, es sei den ich mache in Zukunft schlechte Erfahrungen mit dem Sonnenschutz.

Hola,,,la verdad es que tengo una duda bastante seria y por favor me gustaría que me contestara para quitarme la duda sobre la camiseta,,,ya la tengo,,,pero la camiseta que yo he comprado a usted es de 100 por 100 de tejido de microfibra que lo indica muy claro en la publicidad de la camiseta y la microfibra es un tejido compuesto de poliéster y poliamida. Y sin embargo en la etiqueta de la camiseta indica claramente que solamente es polyester 100 por 100,,,,,así que entonces no es de microfibra? Porque si solo es poliéster no me interesa porque lo que yo quiero es que sea de microfibra y la compre porque en su publicidad indicaba que era ese tejido del cien por cien,,,,,por favor dígame si es de verdad de polyester o de microfibra aunque ponga en la etiqueta que es polyester cien por cien. Gracias y espero la contestación para salir de dudas,,,,gracias
