Gorgeous, efficient, and quiet- thumbs up
We've had our range hood installed for about 2 weeks now and are very happy with it! It works much better than the old model it replaced (no idea on CFMs or age of that thing but it was time for a replacement, ha). This thing is also BEAUTIFUL which was a big selling point for me. I love that it has buttons only and no digital clock or touch pad... less potential for malfunctions down the road, plus I already have digital clocks on my microwave, coffee maker, and oven all within a foot of each other and this range hood... I can't tell you how glad I am not to have an extra clock to reset every time the power goes out lol. This is very quiet on the first setting, still relatively quiet on medium, and creates a decent bit of noise on the highest setting but you are moving a lot of air at that point so I think it's well in line with what I'd expect for the performance. Suction has been impressive to me on all settings, and we haven't had any issues with rattling. It isn't heavy as far as these things go, but it was still a bit of a beast to install as DIYers just because of the nature of the item and location you're putting it (my husband and I did this while I was 8 months pregnant so it's quite doable for the DIY crowd, just not EASY). Definitely recommend two people for install if you're not a pro, and using the box and styrofoam packaging to prop it up while you work helps a lot. Oh and as some others mentioned- yes, it was a pain to peel off the protective film but it was totally worth it to me to have a product that is in pristine shape and undamaged, I peeled while watching TV and it was fine. In the end I'm very happy with the item and would recommend!

Love it!
We just bought this to replace an old under-cabinet microwave (our house had a vent to the roof installed, just not connected). We were debating whether to go with this model, or the all digital model that came with a remote. The reviews were substantially better with this unit (the all digital had electrical component issues it seemed). We are VERY happy with the final result. It still is partially digital, and has elegant buttons instead of clunky knobs. It looks amazing in our new kitchen remodel. This unit requires three prong outlet (not hardwired). The vent comes out of the top of the unit, although it does come with flex tubing, so you could route it back after it routes into the cabinet, though that would probably be less than ideal. It has an automatic damper already in the unit that opens and closes when you turn it on and off. It came with 6 screws and screw supports for installation, which would have probably been fine, but for the extra support, we used locking bolts. Pros: Looks high end...definitely a centerpiece. Works VERY well Cost is very reasonable compared to other models we shopped Easy to use Straightforward installation. Did I mention it looks amazing? Cons: The highest setting is a little loud, but we would only need to use that setting in extreme circumstances. Very happy with the choice we made. If I had the purchase to do over again, I would.

Very nice hood
This hood has worked great for us. The installation was moderately hard but not worth calling someone to do it for you. It is really nice looking. The lights are nice and bright. The suction is adequate. You can only hear it in the next room on high. In the kitchen, you can talk to others on medium. The bottom vents remove for cleaning. I wish they fit a little tighter, but they won't fall off. Overall, I would buy it again.

Looks great and works even better, fantastic price and quality.
This is the first time that a range hood has really worked for me, you can see the smoke leave through it and if you go outside you can feel the air come out really strong! Very recommended, seeing the high quality of the brand makes me wish I had invested in the larger one for aesthetic purposes.

Love the simplicity
We just finished installing this sucker (literally it sucks out nasty grease-filled air out of our house). We previously had a microwave that would just recirculate the air in the house and its probably why we found the curtains the previous owner had with greasy feels to it. Just about everything in this house, had like a weird greasy residue on it. Anyways, It was quite the project since we had to open a hole in our cinderblock wall of the house in order to get the airflow to go outside, but it's well worth it. Sucking out that greasy air is the only way to go, if you want a nice-smelling home and not covered in greasy residue. I did some extensive research on hood fans and this one was well-priced and certainly enough for our kitchen, so we went with this one from Cosmo. So far, it works great. Has three levels of fan speed and the lights are certainly enough for everyday needs. Save yourself from getting something overpriced and overpowered and get this for your average home's kitchen. Oh. Very informative- this comes with a flexible duct that extends well over 2 feet from what I remember (Probably closer to 3 feet and over). This made installation so much easier considering we had to open a hole in our cabinet and wall.

Decent product for the price, suction from the vents could be better and lights are not the brightest, I guess that's what you get with more expensive hood vents. All in all it is decent, hopefully it lasts a long time.
