AthlytAdjustable Dumbbell

The value for adjustable weights is unbeatable as far as I could see. They are good, seem balanced, a little bit of shaking/cajoling can be needed to get them back onto the trays but all in all good and pretty simple/quick to use. They look as they are. My online programme changes weight quickly and I found that do-able with these (i also add on weight by using wrist/ankle weights so time can be adjusted for that too. a small point is that There was a delay in arriving which I put down to the pandemic and supply (I got them back in the end of Autumn last year). There could have been a bit better comms on the delay and the problems but they arrived in the end after a couple of checks and all was well. The trays are plastic so be aware of that. My trays did arrive damaged but they were replaced immediately on photo evidence provision and came quickly. The other trays held together and did the job until then. Always good to see good customer service. And my new trays seem totally fine. I would consider getting the next weights up too so that shows I trust the product and the seller.

I bought a pair of these because I wanted a range of weight options without taking up lots of space. These fit the bill perfectly - the dumbbells are sturdy and I find them easy to grip, and the weight-changing mechanism is simple and smooth.My one complaint is that the plastic stands for the dumbbells are quite flimsy. They do the job but I would be a little concerned about how long they will last. In fact, one of the stands was broken when it arrived, clearly due to bad handling in transit.However, the seller's response to this issue was excellent. I messaged them immediately (on a Saturday afternoon) with a photo of the broken stand. They responded within 2 hours, promising to send a replacement stand out immediately on Monday. It's now 9am on Tuesday and it has just arrived (thankfully intact). No quibbling and despatched with next-day delivery - commendable customer service to create a positive experience after my initial disappointment.

Expensive, but seems to be the going rate.Smooth mechanism for changing the weight. Superfast, much better than conventional dumbbells.Feel well-made and sturdy.Star knocked off because the tray that it sits in was broken. Very flimsy for housing something so heavy!

These weights are great. Compared to others which are WAY more expensive these do the job really well. I was concerned at first that they only went up to 12.5kg, but for the bootcamp style classes I use them for they’ve been awesome.Only 2 slight things are that sometimes when putting the weights back into the holder to change the weight, you have to jiggle them a tiny bit to get them to sit in properly. Not really a massive deal but if I’m trying to change the weights quickly it can take an extra few seconds.The only other thing is if you move the weights quickly (Eg fast overhead press) the weight plates will move a little within their seat. Again not a big deal but the first couple of times it was a bit unnerving as it sounded like the weights weren’t tight and may fall off. But it’s obviously how they’re designed and it’s completely fine.I have and would again highly recommend these weights.

The weights have been my best fitness investment while we have been on restricted movement and the gyms have been closed. In general I have found them to be of excellent quality, they have stood up to daily use. They arrived well packaged and on time.Initially I bought 2 sets but have since invested in a 3rd set to allow greater flexibility when changing weight amount. To be able to use a pair then one without having to always be changing the weight.Due to the increased demand I did have to wait for a while for the 3rd set to arrive however they did arrive a week earlier than estimated.I did have an issue with the last set, in that the base the stack sits in was quite badly broken. I contacted the seller who requested photos. Immediately I received an email informing me there was a new base on its way, 24 hours later it arrived. I call that excellent service.If you don't need huge amounts of weight I would highly recommend them. They are good value and give an adequate range for a home workout as long as you're not the world's strongest man!! Perfect for ladies who like to use weights in the gym.Update to my original review.......Thank you, thank you, thank you.I can't praise this company highly enough for their excellent customer service.Last week a small part of the selector mechanism came loose and fell off, disappeared into the mists of time never to be found. I emailed the company sent a photo of the missing piece and asked if it was possible for it to be replaced. I was happy to pay for the piece and postage.I had an email saying they had dispatched said bit and it would be with me in a couple of days. True to their word the parcel arrived. I had expected a small envelope with the item in. Nope. A huge box with not only the missing bit, but a whole new handle and weight tray, amazing and I didn't even have to pay for any of it.That to me is excellent customer service. I am a very happy customer and do not hesitate recommending you to my friends.Thank you for being able to fix my problem.

Bought during lockdown for an inflated price.But have been absolutely flawless. Solid quality no problems whatsoever.Some people may have problems with:Stickers falling off and grip plastic a bit loose bit not too bad. Some may prefer knurled metal. These are a rubber/ plastic moulders grip.But if grip fails it fails and I will replace with grip tape for no loss of function.Good versitile weight

Habe jetzt die Kurzhanteln (2 Stck.) mehrere Monate im Betrieb. Ich trainiere mehrmals die Woche damit zu Hause. Funktionieren sehr sehr gut. Ersetzen eine ganze Wand an normalen nicht einstellbaren Kurzhanteln.Die Gewichtsstufen sind einstellbar in Schritten von 2,5kg von 5kg bis 32,5kg.Ohne Gewichtsscheiben wiegt jede Hantel 5 Kilo.Ich mag sie sehr, noch besser wären m.E. 2 kg Schritte aber so sind sie auch ok.Nach einer Weile ist eins der zwei Hanteln etwas schwergängiger bei der Einstellung des Gewichts geworden, muss schauen, ob ich sie irgendwie ein bisschen einfetten kann.

I have used this for over a month now. The weight is easy to adjust and the grip feels solid. I have a small concern about the plates feeling slightly loose on the dumbell but if you change the way you are holding it it won't bother whilst working out. Small and compact and easy to put away out of sight :)
