The pocket is too long which doesn’t give you good leverage while stringing, however its very easy to fix, I sewed the pocket in the middle and that is giving me a good of leverage to string my Samick Sage #45.I advice to sew it like this or buy one with smaller pocket if you have a heavy poundage bow.

If you were afraid of breaking your bow, have no fear this item works great and easy to use.

As someone with short arms, short legs, a torn rotator cuff, and a 58" 45# recurve to string, this stringer tool is the best thing I've ever added to my archery gear. I don't have a takedown bow - not sure what difference that makes, but just wanted to put it out there in case you have a one piece and the "Takedown" in the product name is giving you pause. This stringer tool works on my one piece recurve just fine.

This stringer is a no frills work horse style stringer. Its plain, made very well, tough and works! I'm actually very pleased that I got the deerseeker over some of the other ones I looked at. Well done deerseeker, well done!

I love it

Simple to use and affordable.

The stitching on one side of the pocket portion where you slip an end of your bow into completely ripped when I barley put any force on my bow to try and get the string on. I sewed that side up and went to try again and then the other side stitching completely ripped. This stringer is not worth a darn. Notice in the pictures how the top side of the white lettering is torn and then the bottom side is torn. The only thing I got out of this was a good laugh (out of disbelief).

The product is nice, seems well manufactured BUT is thin, weak, needs to be reinforced, I can not return since inner sewing is already ripped only by using it in a 50 lb bow.
