The media could not be loaded. I bought this shoulder heating pad massager for my mom, who suffers from really bad shoulder pain. It fits her well, and the remote control makes it very easy to use. Even though she’s not tech-savvy, she can operate it without any trouble.The material is smooth and sits comfortably on her shoulder, secured by adhesive straps that allow for adjustable tightening. The different massage modes provide a variety of comfort levels, and the heat mode is a real plus for her. Another great feature is that it is hands-free, allowing her to move around while using it. My right shoulder suffers severe chronic pain from a torn rotator cuff and osteoarthritis. Although the device is a challenge to put on and adjust myself because of the lack of motion in the shoulder, once I succeeded in getting on it provided the best relief I have had from the pain and I experienced substantially increased painless range of motion in the shoulder. The main benefit comes from the degree of heat the device delivers. It is much greater than that available from heating pads. The massage effect seemed to relieve the osteoarthritis discomfort long after I removed the device. The seller's information that the device emits an odor when heated is correct, but the smell is slight and is similar to that of my rubber scuba diving masks. It is insignificant when comapared to the theraputic benefits of the device. With a bit of ingenuity in adjustment and positioning of my legs, I was able to use the device to deliver equally beneficial heat and massage therapy to my knees with equivalent results to those provided to my shoulder. The remote control is a bit quirky, but after a bit of practice I was able to out think it's deficiencies and get it to work just fine. Because of the high temperatures reached and the complexity of use of the remote control, however, I would not recommend use of the device by cognitively impaired persons or persons having manual dexterity impairment or persons prone to falling asleep during use unless under the direction and close continuous monotoring of an adult caregiver who is present and observant during the use. I am a 76 years old male and other than getting the device on my shoulder the first time and figuring out the rather minuscule remote, I have had no other problems with it so far. If the device fails in the near future, I shall update this review.

Don’t use this and most certainly do not put this on a loved one!!! This worked great the first time - felt completely adjustable. But - when I put it on my son who is disabled - it burnt and blistered his skin. Just to test that it was indeed the shoulder and not another issue - I put it on myself and the same - burnt my skin. It happens so slowly too that you don’t initially feel that it’s burning until it’s too late. I feel horrible because I used it myself first and it seemed fine didn’t initially feel like it was too hot especially on the lowest setting. The fact that it says there is a thermostat that controls it from over heating is false. It definitely overheats and if it’s doing it on the lowest settings…. That’s scary!

The heat and vibration makes my shoulder pain feel much better, I like the remote control, only bed thing is the strip crossing the chest, is so difficult to do it by yourself, need someone to help to wear it,

The media could not be loaded. I'm giving it a 3 but if my shoulder feels better in 15 minutes I might give it a 4. Instructions are very basic Oops I just had to turn it off because it got too hot. Next time I'll press the heat button once. I like the vibration though, I try to massage my shoulder myself but this is better. Ok it's cooling down now, I'm just leaving it in place. I might start it again.For getting the device in all by yourself, it's very difficult I tried many times but you're already in pain, that's why you bought this. So I velcroed the straps and stepped into it. It's not very dainty but it worked for me. I think I paid less than $40 for it with a coupon on Amazon so that cheaper than paying for a massage and you can use this several times a day. Have 2 AAA batteries available for the remote.I have to admit it helps alot! I might be able to put off shoulder surgery for awhile longer.

Feels pretty good, in use, but very awkward to put on and operate... Seems that in the effort to make this a universal fit for either shoulder the designer compromised the ease of use. Have to operate by feel; plug-in and control buttons are not visible to user? A disconnect in the cord would be very useful and eliminate having to unplug at the wrap and reconnect by feel. Vibrator is on top right next to user's ear, and it is quite noisy! Decent quality, just not very practical to use.

I've been using a device like this for quite awhile to deal with shoulder issues. My old one finally died, and I needed another. While I liked my old one, I had one complaint. I didn't like how it fit, or lack of fitting the top of my shoulder. So when I was looking for a new one, I saw that this looked like it fit very nicely over the top of the shoulder. I got it yesterday, and was not dissapointed. It fully encompasses the entire top of the shoulder front, top, and back. This ensures the entire joint receives direct heat. It really works great. It has more settings than the old one, a timer you can set, and the remote is a nice touch. So far. I highly recommend. I use it every day. If any quality issues pop up, I will edit this review.

This is a very nice heating pad. It covers most of the sholder. I normally wear a medium to large shirt and the medium belt is more than large enough. In my opinion, however, the massage function is not very good. It is a vibrator that only gets the top of the sholder. While it has six settings it on has two levels, both of which are too strong. The heat function is very good. I have found that I only need level 2. Level 3 is a little too hat for me. The remote works ok.
