Easy to adjust
Easy to adjust. One of the more comfortable headgear being made/sold. I can hear more clearly through this headgear than any I've used (31 years with no cauliflower ear... I've worn many styles regularly over these years). Interior of cups are large enough to prevent any ear impact...total ear protection. While the headgear are easy to adjust, someone experienced with how they should fit should help you if it is your first time. Properly fitting headgear will be pretty snug, but not painful. Any headgear will feel a bit restrictive at first. After using new headgear a few times, I know when I've got the fit just right . At that time I like to wrap a little athletic tape around each of the Velcro straps. It ensures the straps won't come apart(though I don't think they would), and it gives the straps a little softer of an edge. One final tip: use a cotton ball with some rubbing alcohol to clean/disinfect all surfaces in & out of the headgear every week.

Magic headgear.
My 6 year old has an enormous head (orange on a toothpick), and this headgear formed right up to it. I've never adjusted headgear before, but this is very intuitive. I know he loves it, because he refused to take it off for the team picture (see attached). This product is also magic, because it even succeeded in making my wife happy.... even though she hates wrestling. What further endorsement do you need?

I bought it for no-gi submission grappling
I have a wrestler background years back and started no-gi jiu jitsu a few weeks ago. A few triangles later I decided I really need headgear.Pros:1) VERY light. As light as the cheapie foam ones we used in HS.2) VERY comfortable. I've had the hardshell "turtle shell cups" and the cheapie foam ones. This combines the comfort of the foam ones (perhaps even better because this foam is squishier) with the protection of the hardshells. Slippage has been minimal for me, certainly less than the cheapie foams and a little less than the classic turtleshell cups. It's just a grippier foam that sticks to your head and it has more straps than a cheap foamie one. The foam chin strap is a nice touch.3) Hearing is excellent. Don't really have any difference between wearing it and not wearing it.4) Safe for my practice mate. It's a hardshell around the ears so it's protective, but it's not like any other hardshell I've used. It gives just enough when you push on it. So it's good for my partner and it's good for me cuz then you don't get the hardshell crushing your head or ear in the situations when it slips a little.5) Doesn't look horrible. Not like it's going to get you the ladeeyz (or boyz, whatever), but it's better than most. I got the all black one.Cons:1) Price. Yeah, it's definitely pricey. But yes, I do feel it's a world apart from lower level headgear and I'm glad I splurged. Also, I know someone mentioned that it gives more of a "handle" for people to grab and submit, but it hasn't been an issue for me at all. I'm a wrestler who shoots in and still use my head to help pivot the opponent and so I still get caught in a jillion guillotines and headlocks and triangles or whathaveyou. I've been able to slip out of them not much worse than without it. Just my personal experience.Overall: 9/10. I would prefer an extra strap running perpendicular to the other straps so it can protect my hair from getting caught even more than it already does, but that's a minor issue a lot of grapplers won't have (I have relatively long "fobby Asian-style hair).

These'll likely do the job
I'm happy with these. I use it for jiu-jitsu to avoid cauliflower ear. The space around the ears means I can actually hear just fine when I have them on. Overall, they're quite comfortable. My only gripe is that it can sometimes come loose or shift. This doesn't happen to me too often, but when it does, it's really annoying. I've used these for over three months now. They probably get 1-2 hours of use a week. Wear is otherwise good. These work well enough that if I had to make the purchase again, I'd probably just get these.

Superior
My concern was whether it would fit my 6 yo. Absolutely no problems. Wide sizing range, will grow with him. Excellent design was never in question...comfortable, durable, great protection, one of the only head gear I see on the kids (I coach) that doesn't slip under any circumstances. It is expensive, but an extremely quality product that seems destined to last many seasons. My extra thumbs up goes to the ridiculous color selection. Amazing colors and three way custom combinations. Best looking head gear on the mat. The one we got in Vegas Gold/Dark Green/Vegas Gold is barely believable...extremely tight.

Protect your ears before you have a problem!
Rock solid. Doesn't move once adjusted. Took a little while to get just right. And with respectful grappling if you don't use it as a weapon (grind its ear cups against an opponent) people shouldn't use the straps against you--at least for practice sessions. All bets are off if it's for a medal or belt I'd imagine. This is the only headgear I've ever worn and I haven't used it long but so far I was able to grapple pretty much full bore without reinjuring my treated cauliflower ear. Which BTW is fully healed now so that's good! I'll keep wearing this for BJJ for sure as it's a great value and very effective.

I like these headgear very much
Thanks for the blindingly fast shipping during wrestling season, your my hero for the week!! We are replacing the same model because the padding was cracking, but I think we got 3-4 years out of that pair. I like these headgear very much, I see a lot less fiddling with these during the match than the round ones many of the rest of the team wear. Comfort has not been an issue, my son has readily strapped these on for practice and competition. Thanks again, good luck wrestlers, keep making weight and keep your limbs from bending the wrong way! (that's a wrestling mother's cheer, not sure what it rhymes with)

Very comfortable ear guard.
I always hated sparring with ear guards but after my first cauliflower ear at 44 and multiple attempts to drain it, I knew I had to look for one. My old one was never comfortable and you couldn’t hear a thing. This one is totally different. You can hear and it doesn’t get too hot thanks to the ventilation slots. Sits very comfortably and gives you plenty of protection. Definitely worth a try.

Comfortable for girlies but I guess men too.
A bit bulky for your partner but the most comfortable headgear I've ever tried. Lasts a while as well, despite soft surfaces... being soft. My third one in four years.

Perfect headgear for mma sparring
I use it for mma Sparring while my ears are swollen and it works perfekt. I feel nothing in the sparring when I wear this headgear.I tried other headgear and they didn't worked well but this one is excellent.

but if i can still roll and not have wrastlin ears thats good.
I use it whenever my ear starts to get tendy for bjj so I can still roll. It can be moved slightly when someone is gooning you, but if i can still roll and not have wrastlin ears thats good.

Did not hold up for jiu jitsu.
It broke after a handful of jiu jitsu sparring sessions. This is very disappointing because it was quite expensive.

Bon produit mais un peu décevant
Bon produit, néanmoins les attaches sur l'arrière de la tête sont un peu courtes. Je pense qu'il ne faut pas avoir une trop grosse tête lol
