Greater Goods Smart Bluetooth Baby Scale with in-House Algorithm for Wiggly Babies, Infants, and Toddlers

Reason why I bought it:A few days after our baby was born, our little one ended up being severely dehydrated and started to lose weight because my milk was struggling to come in. I had no idea! The only clue was that little one wouldn't wake up and went 5 hrs of trying to wake the baby up for a feed. (Baby is fine now) I wish I would have bought this scale regardless before going into labor. As I wanted to be an exclusively breastfeeding mom I had to face supplementing our baby with formula for a couple of days and pumping like crazy in order for my baby to gain weight and my milk to come in. It was very disheartening especially since my little one did not do good with Enfamil Newborn Formula and spit up majority of it. This scale puts my mind at ease to make sure baby is gaining weight properly since the baby's next weight check is 2 mths from now! If you are expecting or knows someone that is I highly recommend buying this scale!Accuracy:I am not exactly sure the accuracy of the scale because I have nothing to compare it to but I will know during babies next weight check and if it's drastically different I'll update my review.Assembly:Super easy as soon as you open the box it clearly depicts how to assemble the scale for baby mode but it was slightly hard to line up the plates with the base. Although I think this might have been user error and it just took me a little to align them. Plus I was soothing a crying baby upon assembly. Again buy before going into labor. (10 mins max)Pros:-Easy to assemble/Nice and neat packaging-Super quick reading for a squirmy baby (10 seconds max)-Can convert to a toddler scale (haven't tested this feature yet)-Decent price-Bluetooth/App Enabled. As others have mentioned, pay the extra money to have the Bluetooth feature with the App. Not only is the App amazing at tracking weights it also shows you on a growth chart how your baby compares. It also allows you to link it with others, so my spouse and I have the App connected on both our phones. Just make sure to have the App open before doing the reading and it has the Bluetooth icon in the top right on the scale lit up. I am glad I listened to the reviews and purchased the upgraded feature.Cons:-May be hard for some to align the plates for the baby mode onto the scale initially but it shows what to do with plenty of pictures. Other than that small nitpick, it does exactly what's advertised and exceeded my expectation by allowing me to connect with multiple phones and has fast readings.Tip: As with most baby monitoring products, I don't really worry too much from week to week as long as my baby isn't nose diving with their weight and is gradually gaining. So, if my baby doesn't match the weight charts on the App exactly I just make sure it's close enough to 50% and gradually going up. Typically, no baby has perfect linear weight gain especially with growth spurts. (Not officially backed by medical science just mom science) But I really like the fact that the App has growth charts to compare to.

Works well to do at-home weights for my cat (good size, stabilizer, value, ability to zero out, easy to see the numbers). My roommate also weighs her cat (she is scared of everything, so we are trying to get her used to it with treats - pictured). The stabilizer for weight is pretty quick (not fast enough for a panicking cat, but fast enough we hope it will work better for her in the future.) Hard to tell how accurate since every scale is a little different - mostly I just track changes over time, which it does well.The packaging instructions were confusing about bluetooth and the app (I bought the version that does NOT sync to the app, but forgot) and struggled with trying to connect it because the directions told me to do so. The app was buggy (set up for an infant so it didn't like my 11-year-old pet's "low" weight.) We use a pet-specific app now and just manually enter them in - much better experience.

I purchased this scale to keep track of the weights of a few of my cats -- two are overweight and one is old and losing weight. I'm not even sure where to start or what awesome feature to start with, so here's a list of things I love:*This scale is quick and easy to assemble. Once you understand how the pieces fit together, it takes less than a minute to remove the parts from the box and get the scale ready. It's so simple that I store everything as it all arrived in the box, with the protective wrapping on each part even. This makes for easy storage and will keep the parts in new condition.*It connects to your phone via Bluetooth!!!! All you need to do is download the app, set up an account, and add your kids' or pets' names. Then when it's weighing time, you just turn on the scale and the Bluetooth on your phone and the devices connect! You then choose a name and get to weighing. The weight is automatically sent to your phone within seconds! Then you can choose whether to save the weight are try again (in case whoever you weighed was wiggly).*Regarding wiggling... even if there's movement on the scale, the weight is still pretty accurate. I've taken several weights in a row for the same subject due to wiggling, and the weight is never off by much. Weights can be deleted or added manually.*MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS SCALE is that the app creates a graph to show the progression of weight gain/loss over time. The graph view can be changed to show all registered weights or weights over the course of 1 week or 1 month.*For people who want to use this scale to track the weight of infants, the app lets you enter date of birth, gender, and birth weight & length. It also shows weight percentiles.*Once a child can stand, the scale can be used without the tray.If you're looking for a scale to track the weight of an infant or an animal, I highly recommend this one. The only downside I can think of at this time is that the weight limit is 66 lbs., which isn't a big deal for me since I'm using it to weigh cats. Maybe the company could consider making one for heavier people/animals whose weights need to be tracked. Overall, though, this is a wonderfully useful product.

Pros - like picture, Compact, light. Cons - the tab they give to turn the locking feature isn’t the best and there’s no place to hold it. The other con is the power button is sensitive. Barely brush it and it turns on, also when holding it down to turn off, the screen flashes like crazy.
