MMOBIEL Dock Connector Replacement Compatible with iPhone 4S (White) Charging Port Flex incl 2X Screwdriver

Well, my daughter has a 4S that was having the issue of only charging when powered off.I did not use the included tools, I already had a better set from a previous iPhone repair. The included one is basic but would probably work, but you still need something plastic and thin to pry apart with.After I got the phone back together and plugged it in, nothing at all. Even turned off it would not charge. I tried 3 cords (1 OEM Apple, 2 aftermarket that have worked for years and still work on other devices) and 2 wall plugs OEM Apple one and a 5 way charger that charges any device I put on it. Took it apart and checked everything and it all looked fine, all together again and still nothing. It was late so I just put it on the shelf. 2 days later I tried a 4th cord I had (falling apart and ragged looking OEM cable) and it worked! Tried other cables again, they still don't work. No idea why, but this dock is apparently very picky about charging cords. I am going to look around and see if I have any others to try.My daughter is saving up for a new phone, so this should make it last till she saves up enough for a new one.

It totally fixed mi problem, when someone called me i could hear them but they couldnt, i had to use the speakers so they could hear me, i installed it myself and i have no experience, it comes with the 2 screw drivers you need to installed it.I guess i was lucky cause i didnt get a defective one based on the reviews.

While I luckily have tools of my own, this product didn't come with the customized screwdrivers that were promised. I was sorely disappointed in that but the actual replacement part seems to be functioning properly.

It has functioned normally for me since I got it a few weeks ago. However, this is not an easy DIY repair. There's a lot of small pieces inside the iPhone.

It arrived on time and very easy to install.

I used the Directfix.com YouTube video to guide my installation. It's fairly involved but the new part works perfectly. I just wish I had fixed my phone earlier.

Worked well for one week. Then the phone would only charge if it was turned off. There are better replacements out there.
