Love this book
This book tells you everything you need to know and goes into a lot of medical detail. Used it all the way through my dogs pregnancy, birth and when the puppies were here

Essential if you’re thinking about having pups.
Loads of really good information and if you are thinking about breading your bitch you should read it cover to cover.

Great book
This is our first time having a litter of puppies and by god this book has not left my side. I even highlighted and parked pages etc and I go back to it for each stage. Was recommended to me by our vet and was a little taking a back by the price however it’s SO worth it!!

All about the girls
Bought this on a friend's recommendation. The book is a guide to owning and loving a female dog. Everything from choosing your puppy and beyond. It doesn't quite prepare you for the mayhem, but that's another story!

Brilliant book - ideal guide to help through pregnancy and whelping
I purchased a copy of this book in 2015 when I decided to mate my dog, and used it again when a second litter was planned in 2020. It's a brilliant guide for all you need to know about having a Bitch Dog and the care needed to ensure your pet is in the best health and what to do stage by stage when preparing for mating, when she is in pup and the aftercare of both the Bitch and her litter.SUCH a good book, I bought this latest copy for a relative who has decided to breed her spaniel.

Must read if you own a dog!
I have the previous (original) version of this book and didn't realise it had been updated. If you own a bitch or for that matter you own a dog then this is a must have book.I refer back to it all the time it is a very well written book. Although published in 2002 there are some things that will have changed by now but the basic principles on looking after a dog are the same and as always, if ever in doubt contact your vet.
