Great Thimble!
I've used it on a few small projects now and I really like it. I have really small hands (I'm 5'2, 100lbs), and the small still fits my middle finger pretty well. It's a tiny bit loose but it's not a big deal, it stays on for the most part. It's really comfortable and works better than a couple other thimbles I've tried. I hope it lasts a long time! If not I'll be buying more of the same one!

So much better than a hard one
So much better than hard thimbles! I always felt like my metal thimbles were falling off. Then I discovered leather ones. I put it on and forget that its there. but it still protects my finger from the constant pressure of pushing my needle.

Knitting with pointy needles
Game changer! I am knitting socks on US 1 needles for a two socks at a time class. I am pushing them off the left needle as I knit and am developing a sore right index finger. This thimble is comfortable; it stretched to fit and I can keep knitting! I wear medium size glove and the small stretched a little to fit great.

Wish it was a little thicker!
I like it a lot! It fits well and—most importantly—actually stays on my finger the whole time, unlike many other thimbles. However, I like to hand-quilt, which can sometimes require a lot of force when seams are involved. i push from the center of my fingertip, which is a thinner area of the thimble, while the tip of my nail has the thickest coverage. My preferred placement is the main issue. Still, it can cause some discomfort after a while since that’s where I naturally push the needle.

Perfection! 7 month trial
I waited 7 months before I wrote this review so I could really use it and tell my experience. I have been through at least a dozen different thimbles before I fell in love with this one. I liked leather but most of the other leather ones had seams sticking out on edges that caught the thread and made it hard to pull thread through without pulling it out of the needle. This thimble has the seams toward the back of it so they do not catch the thread. The leather is strong enough to push the needle through without puncture although it eventually may wear on that part. I love it so much I’m ordering more to keep in reserve. I tried several sizes and decided that ordering the bit smaller one was perfect because after it warms up a little on your finger the leather gently shapes to you finger. I don’t want one to slip off and this one stretched and fitted my finger perfectly even though it was initially a bit snug. If you have had trouble finding the perfect thimble, give this one a try.

Works great, very comfortable.
This is my favorite thimble. I can sometimes forget I'm wearing it, because it fits so well... when new. Over time, the leather will stretch out and start to fit more loosely.

The fit is the trick!
I reviewed a black one first because it came first on the list. However, I found both to be identical in fit and use. Haven't had them long enough to rate durability. I prefer the look and feel of the natural leather to one that is dyed. I haven't the time to repeat my review of the black one, but please refer to it for my thoughts on both and leather in general. Because this one is natural leather, I prefer it to the dyed one. Personal preference takes over here. As I said in my review, both are excellent to work witb. If you can't access my review of them both attached to the black one, fit really is the trick. If you purchased small and it's still too large, consider soaking ing warm water until thoroughly wet, then squeeze excess water out in a towel, thwn allow to dry (I slipped mine loosely ovover the end of a dowel.

Absolutely Perfect!!
I had been looking for a leather finger thimble for ages when I finally came upon this beauty. I blister my finger whenever I do amigurumi and I am allergic to metal so I couldn't use a metal thimble. This baby feels like butter once it molds to your finger; which it does. It's super soft and I was really happy that I went with the small because once it's molding it's softer and became a little looser and fit wonderfully. Now my finger doesn't get jabbed and blistered anymore when I make my little amigurumis. I am definitely buying more and would very much recommend these to anyone who is allergic to metals and to anyone who crochets amigurumi.
