These are very good quality, the kind you would see in a good library. They are heavy enough and very sturdy. I think if anyone is looking for this type of bookend, they should buy these. I haven't seen any any better anywhere.

Simple, affordable and invisible in my shelf

These were just what I needed to keep my two shelves of books looking neat and together. I wasn't looking for some fancy clunky bookends, just ones like you see at your local library. They're made in a thin design that allows the bottom part to slip easily under the books at each end of the shelf. The bookends fit tightly against the end books, keeping the row of books standing upright and neat. A pretty reasonable price for some no-frills bookends that do a great job.

These are by far the best metal book ends. Too many other are flimsy and will just bend in half of you have heavy books or a slightly off-level bookshelf. These work like a charm on my heavy textbooks, sitting on a bookshelf on carpet. The construction and quality are great, these do not bend over even slightly with heavy books.
