I love soup. Sometimes a large bowl and sometimes a small bowl. These are perfect for those occasions. They are well made and will last for decades.

My cousin next door noodled-out my Grand-mother's aluminum soup ladles from me and the bargain plastic ones are awfully big and Grammie's gravy ladles "walked-off" too, so $40 EACH for 2 ounce, 3 ounce and 4 ounce stainless ladles from the restaurant supply wasn't gonna happen! These are fine for a home kitchen. They are about half as thick and heavy as commercial grade ware, but the "arms" are long enough to use in stock pots or a canner or on a gas range and not cook your hands too. At the price, these would work SUPER for dipping wall or house paint from the cans or buckets too! Yeah, I done that too and the MESS and clean-up is worth MORE than $5!!!

Two of the 4 ladles were heavily corroded where the bowl of the ladle attaches to the handle. This wasn't a surface corrosion, but rather deep dug out pits in the steel. Had to throw those two ladles out which was a shame because they were the 2 sizes that I really needed.
