Boundless Style: A Mix-and-Match Sewing Pattern Workbook

Absolutely wonderful book. While I am also a fan of the many "skater"-esque/fit-and-flare dress patterns out there (and indeed buy them alllllll up as soon as they hit the internet), this book is a breath of fresh air with fashion-forward designs, gorgeously creative styling, and basically a book full of looks that the indie pattern world has not yet seen. Not just a book with one or two new looks, a WHOLE BOOKLOAD OF NEW DESIGNS! I was amazed that one designer could come up with so much innovation! Seriously, buy this book.

I'm not a new sewer and needed new ideas; this book filled that need.Very well done and easy to follow.

Really nice book, but please use a digital download next time!! So few new computers for the average user have disc drives (and none of mine do). In this world of light and mobile devices I guess I will go to my parents' house hoping that they have a computer big and old enough to open a CD? Otherwise beautiful, lots of nice options and great instructions.

Kristiann is not only and extremely kind woman, but her talent and beauty shines in everything she does -- including this book!Sadly, unlike her online patterns, this doesn't include a copy shop version of each block, so you have to cut and tape each piece together. It's so worth it because if you run into any troubles, Kristiann will personally walk you threw it, sending her own step-by-step images. She even sent me other patternmaker's sewalongs to help me!The whole book is interactive, so a computer is a must. Considering her patterns are $14-19 a pop, this book is practically robbery!Every pattern is made for a B cup and someone 5'8"-5'10", so keep that in mind; however, even if you're a novice, she'll personally walk you through pattern alterations, as does her book.

Wonderful format with beautiful photos and good instructions make for a good starting point. Explains in great detail each element, how to put these together to create various dresses - could be countless garments.The book is ideal for someone who is starting out and doesn't have a pattern collection and hasn't experimented combining them.And though the book is a very nice format, I am not inspired to make any of the dresses/combos.

Went through the book and looks pretty good. Really nice you can mix the patterns to suit your style. Gives step by step for each pattern. Downside is you have to print out the pattern.

Make sure you go through the entire book when you get it. My copy had numerous pages with no printing. These were not extra pages. The information is missing.

This is a beautiful book! I purchased after seeing snippets in love sewing magazine and loved the vintage styling and the ability to mix and match all the tops, bottoms, collars and sleeves to suit, making it really versatile. Victory patterns are an independent pattern retailer. I do love buying from pattern makers like these as the styles often have lovely individual touches, but I hadn't bought from Victory before so these were all new to me, I think they are US based. I felt compelled to write a review as another reviewer said how frumpy they looked well goes to show how beauty is in the eye of the beholder I think the models look amazing and every style is in my wishlist! Like another reviewer commented I wish the patterns were on paper too instead of cd but this is the way patterns seem to be offered now. Printing all those pages and sticking is such a chore so I'm waiting till the Xmas as break to get some time to get started but really looking forward to it, this is a must for those who love dress making with real style!
