Extremely Excellent Value
This remarkably tough 24" toolbox is an extremely useful, excellent value. I can easily fit my drill in the large basin bottom, along with work gloves and my larger tools. This allows plenty of room for the tray above it, which can be lifted out or slightly slid to the side, using its handle. The chunky but just-right exterior handle of the toolbox has a comfortable rubbery-grip texture where fingers hold it. It has a sturdy spot to add a padlock, if needed. One of the best parts is actually the single but large metal easy-lift spring handle, made precisely so that it's convenient to open it with one hand alone while I have items in my other hand. Even better is how it closes and latches (because of the spring), just by giving the lid a little elbow bump to close itself, so I could have tools in both hands and not have to set anything down to latch it. Especially for a DeWalt item, and for the size, this is a proud bargain find and would make an excellent gift as well.

Great for holding tools, love the one touch lid.
I started off with a basic Home Depot toolbox that served its purpose well for a couple of years, but eventually, the hinge broke, making it a hassle to open, close, and keep secure. I decided to replace it with the DEWALT One Touch 24-Inch Tool Box, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. This toolbox is significantly larger than my previous one, allowing it to hold all my tools and then some. The lid opens and closes securely and easily, thanks to the one-touch design. Additionally, it features a handy little compartment on the top for quick access to smaller items. Overall, I highly recommend this tool box. It’s durable, spacious, and well-designed, making it a great upgrade from any basic toolbox.

Long term user and perfect tool box!
This ruggedized tool box has been around for at least 12-13 years and hasn't changed across the black and decker conglomerate tool brands. I purchased the 28" Stanley Fatmax version, which also had the waterproof seal, back then for my general purpose home tool box and it's still as good as new. After moving into the new 50 yo home, I had all facets of new tools that I needed to purchase for modernization during improvement projects, including electrical and plumbing tools, drywall tools, and tile tools. I wanted smaller, task-oriented tool boxes that are ready to use to cut down on all the back-and-forth trips for forgotten tools from the garage, and these Dewalt version tool boxes are perfect sized just for that. I had checked prices and availability at the local Lowes', which supposedly had them, but instead had the Craftsman version at the same pricing Amazon has set for the Dewalt version. The Dewalt version was $35 in store, but they of course didn't have them out on the floor and I didn't want to deal with Lowes' subpar customer service associates that disappear when you actually need help, so I bought them from Amazon instead and saved a couple bucks. You can't go wrong and I easily can recommend any brand of this style tool box!

Finally Found It!
I needed to store a set of tools and supplies for professional photo mounting and framing which has both small and some rather large tools. I specifically needed a toolbox that had a removable top tray, but not the conventional arrangement where it stretches all the way across the box or only leaves a small opening along the front edge of the box and this was the only box I could find that had the tray that only covers half the box which allows me plenty of space to store all the smaller items above and below but then leave the other half of the box to store all the larger tools that need the full interior height of the box. Thankfully being the only one that fit my needs, it is also excellent quality and very durable which would easily stand up to much heavier use than what I am using it for. The large but simple front latching system is also great compared to the old fashioned latches on either side, this is simple to quickly open with one hand.

Good size, has been durable, but not the most rigid
Even with 35ish pounds of tools inside it's nice and strong when carried, and has taken my abuse. My only complaint is that its not sturdy enough in certain dimensions, and when placed on an uneven surface, the latch does not line up very easily and requires some beating to get it to close.

Pretty Great
So if the top tray isn't exactly horizontal with the box it'll fall in. There is also a cutout for said trays handle that'll let anything smaller than a screwdriver fall into the bottom. Really neither are a big deal to me and I love this box. Imma fatty fr and even I can sit on it, I'm talking 3 fitty. The latch is strong and easy to operate and it's pretty big. I got it 04/23 for $25 and it was a hands down steal for that. For the now $32 on 10/23, I may look around a little more but for what I dunno. I'm thinking something around the $15 range and a step or 2 down from this.
