These are perfect for trailer couplers. Very sturdy and easy to use.

The trailer receptacle that connects the trailer to the hitch has a lip under the hole that the bar fits in that gets in the way when trying to push the lock together. I have to push the handle back hard to lift it high enough to push the lock together to be able to lock it. If the lock had a slight bevel, it would be able to push together without the extra effort and work perfectly. I just received the lock so I can't yet attest to the durability.

Durable and works nicely. Very well built. I got it for my john boat trailer.

Seems like a nice lock but won’t fit your travel trailer. Maybe a small boat trailer or cargo trailer. If your application is RV look for something with a longer shank.

This pin lock is so well made, it feels, looks and operates like aomethinf you would expect to pay two to three times more for. What a deal! Highly recommended to peoe who beg for value and quality.

I bought this coupler lock to go with the locking hitch pins from this same brand, had to return because the shank on the pin wasn’t long enough. The locking mechanism was too big for the coupler. I would recommend giving this product a shot, if not I believe they sell another one like this with a 2 inch shank on the pin. Try that instead if it doesn’t fit.

This is a great lock! However whoever designed it must not have tested it to see if it actually worked on a regular Travel Trailer Coupler Lock which I consider my 17' Casita Travel Trailer to be one. Anyway, the 7/8 inch span will not lock because the metal tabs above the coupler hole on the latch interferes with the locking mechanism.As a result, I had to instead go with the larger CZC lock with a 2 1/2 inch span. It works but it does seem weird to have the so much additional latch span that will allow the lock to move back and forth. However the main purpose of making sure the coupler latch is locked is accomplished.In summary, if you purchase this lock get the lock with a 2 1/2 span, unless you have measured your coupler latch and are triple positive that the 7/8 inch span will work. In regard to CZC, it seems that they should have designed another similar lock but with a span somewhere between 7/8 and 2 1/2 inch. A 1 inch span version of this lock would have been perfect!I gave a 3 rating, but a 5 in all rating feature categories. This is because its a well designed lock, but the 7/8 " inch span is not long enough to enable the lock to engage on my Casita Travel Trailer so the resulting total rating.

Originally purchased this product in May of 2021 and I loved it so much that I wanted to order another. Unfortunately, they have changed the design of it and it felt flimsier than my first one purchased last year. Sure enough, it broke right out of the package (it will not re-lock). I would desire to order another, but I sense that this new design will either break out of the package again or down the road. Will return and seek something else.

Like the dust cap. we are on salty winter rds and the lock seems fine so far. it has been on the trailer for about 800 kms and about a month outside and showing no signs of trouble

Best tongue lock i have found and i have tried many similar products over past 25 years of trailering.I have 4 trailers and now bought 4 of them after trying one. Great fit, finish, key hole cover, strong key wont bend.
