What it looks like in pocket and out of pocket
This belt hanger is the answer to my every day carrying issues with my favorite Victorinox, the Hercules, which is one of the larger models. It is too big to reasonably carry in a pocket unsecured. You could carry it like this but it tends to sit at the bottom of your pocket horizontally, which is like having a little brick in your pocket. It is not a practical way to carry this model and most would not. I ordered a belt pouch to attempt to solve this issue however I found that I did not like the belt pouch either. The belt pounch bothers me, especially if I were to sit down and lean against something, and it shows too much of a bump under the shirt, possibly confusing it for a concealed pistol, which I did not like. I tried a few other various unorthodox methods of carrying the Hercules but none of them were practical and I was about to give up and just resign to a much smaller Victorinox until this belt clip was brought to my attention by chance. THIS has solved the carry issue COMPLETELY. The Hercules now hangs securely and vertically at about mid pocket, so the weight is hardly and barely felt since the hip is now the weight barer and not the bottom of a pocket. There are no issues whatsoever while walking or sitting, it is securely and comfortably held within the pocket and can even be forgotten about. It may show a little, but that is not a problem for me, it is obviously a popular "Swiss army knife" to most people if it does show a bit. I have so far been in populated public places many times with no issue at all and most of the time, it tends to be totally concealed, especially when I'm a few pounds on the light side for some reason. This belt hanger has been the answer to my carry problem, it is superb. You can realistically carry the larger models with this in any clothing with a belt. Here is a photo of me sitting down with shorts and the belt clip with the knife.

It’s good
I have had it for a while and it is intact despite its daily use.

It works well.
Purchased this for my SAK Huntsman. It fit well, is secure to the SAK and the belt. Only thing I do not like is when I need the knife I must unhook it from this device or remove the entire clip from my belt then remove the knife from the device. My solution, I purchased the clip for the SAK. it more easily fits to the pocket and quick access to the knife if much better.

Great key wrangler
The size of my keychain has gotten larger as I have added a small flashlight, tiny titanium pen, Atwood tool, and tweezers to the normal keys I must carry. I find the wad of metal uncomfortable in the bottom of my pocket, so I have been trying different key fobs and carabiners to hook them to my belt. The main advantage of the Swiss Army fob is that you can hook it on your belt anywhere, without removing the belt, and it won't come undone accidentally. It takes a little practice to use but I am liking it more as I use it every day. The S-type carabiners I had before are easier to use, but they have to go on a belt loop rather than the belt, and the loop may not be ideally situated over a pocket to help contain the tools and keys. The S-carabiners also tend to open by themselves. This is a little more stylish and less tactical-looking, and seems to be very well made.

Handy & Useful!
This is one of the most secure and helpful key / knife holders I've owned. If I need to access my pocket I just take this out of my pocket and it dangles securely until I put it back in. I use it everyday to lock the house up & it's easy to take off my belt / put on and I never have a doubt if it's ther or not. Great quality and made very well!

Allows me to carry the bigger SAK's for EDC
I have a love of the 110 mm sized SAK's and I also like to occasionally EDC my Rangerwood 55. This clip gives me the ability to pocket carry these knives in a more controlled fashion. The clip holds the larger knife in a vertical fashion eliminating the issue of a crosswise knife at the bottom of my pocket. Plenty of room to get my hand past the knife to access my wallet. This clip works well for smaller knives like the field master and deluxe tinker. The clip is heavy duty and as expected from victorinox built with high quality and attention to detail. I like this clip so much a bought a spare in case victorinox decides to stop making them.Update: ordered a third belt hanger, seems when folks see how well this hanger works they want one and I end up giving them mine.

Perfect.
Nice piece of quality steel.Clips on belt or edge of pants/shorts. If you try to pull up on it, it "locks" preventing the belt clip from being removed by mistake.Currently wearing it now and sitting down. Don't even realize you're wearing it.I wasn't sure if this belt clip came with a regular ring or a split ring. Some photos on Amazon and from Victorinox don't show it (since the stock photos are taken head on).I can confirm that the ring is in fact a split ring. Might I add, a polished stainless split ring, not some cheap chrome plated one. (it matters to me). It's Victorinox Quality all the way!
