Action Replay for Nintendo 3DS, DSI, DS Lite and DS - DSi Yellow

Okay, I have used AR since the Advanced, and I will say with great happiness that all of them have worked well. This one does to, and they don't break if you use them right. I still have a working one for Advance that I use on my Megaman Games.Second point I want to make is that this will not harm your game like a lot of people seem to think. It is technically a yes and no though. You see, Action replay does not force your game to do something it CANT do, while Gameshark did way back in the day. The thing that will, will, and will ruin the game though is codes that give you things that have been taken out, or do not naturally exist. A good example is in the Megaman games when you got Chips or Cards in Starforce that were removes from the American ones. That will ruin the game, freeze it and possible delete it.Now the thing I have always had trouble with is the cord that attaches the AR system to the computer to update it. I do not know why, but only the first one I got for the DS compatible one has worked. Now this doesn't ruin your system, but it would mean that you have to manually enter every code and you can't ever update it. <.< So in a few years or so you would be forced to get a new one or find a cord.

Helps give you an advantage when a game is hard to complete

Works perfectly on my DSi. Will not work on a New 3DSXL for two reasons. One, it is physically incompatible as the New 3DSXL has a recessed cartridge slot, and two, the latest firmware updates by Nintendo block this cartridge.This works great for my old Pokemon games such as White 2 and Pearl. This will ONLY work on DS and DSi games, for 3DS games you will need a Action Replay PowerSaves Pro - Nintendo 3DS.

I bought this so for my Pokemon White game. I wanted to use it so I could make the process of EV Training go by faster. I just don't have the time to do it like I used to.Of course, after I bought this I found a better way of doing it through a phone app that lets you make your Pokemon legitimately right down to what Poke Ball you caught it with and where you met it. Then you can send it to the Global Trade Station, then receive it in the game. So I don't really need it this Action Replay now...BUT, this does what it's supposed to do. It works on the 3DS. You'll have to update your AR with the USB cord it comes with. The instructions are on the CodeJunkies website. Just follow them and you'll have it done.Like I said though, does what it's meant to do. If you play Pokemon like do, be careful. Certain cheat codes could mess up your game. Like, if you used it to get a Pokemon that is illegitimate, and then tried to breed that Pokemon with another, it might jack things up.Other than that, have fun running through walls and whatnot! I'd definitely recommend this.

I do not know what this does, but it was on my sons Christmas list and I got it for him.He really used it a lot. SO I recommend it.

Product came with appropriate packaging and new in box. Came with all that was needed. So thank you to the seller! 5 star!!! Now, for the item itself! After reading dozens of terrible reviews and some minor good on the game chip. I decided to risk it anyway and purchase it. From what I can tell, it's a so far so good scenario. There's a huge range of games to take advantage of which is nice. I've had minimal issues with the chips software functionality, such as not being able to manually enter codes because it'll only allow for 3/4 code entry then act as if you've reached character limit..... The cancel button doesn't work 90% of the time. The touch keypad is over sensitive and unusable for entering codes, so old skool button function is required lol. So far they're my only faults with the product. I guess you have to remember that this product is mass produced cheaply and homebrew technology. The quality of the product could have been better but it's on the mark. Fits my DS lite perfectly and both it and the games sit together snug. For the games I'm using the chip for, the product seems to work well. Still experimenting and will see in the future just how well it holds up.... Do be careful not to overload your game and switch every cheat available on.. You just run a higher risk of your game crashing and possibly corrupting if you do depending on the cheat. Take care and indulge lightly when using potent cheats. I'm definitely glad that I didn't get a straight dud out of the box like so many have claimed. I am yet to use the computer software, as I've seen a few reviews telling you not to EVER because it'll corrupt your cheat chip rendering it useless. So, I'm being safe at the moment and just using what's given out of the box. I may venture and trial the software, though I only will when I'm ready to accept it self destructing lol. It's a 50/50 when buying this product I guess. I'm on the winning side for the time being.. I give it 4 star!
