YES YES YES YES YES YES
YES YES YES AND YES! I bought this for my baritone saxophone after trying harnesses and neck straps that were painful and uncomfortable but THIS? This made it feel like it was floating and good support. The only wierd thing is the chest piece but after the second time using it I got used to it. It’s been so durable and the quality is amazing. I was able to comfortably play it without straining my neck or back too hard. The size and weight is amazing too. PLEASE buy it, it is amazing.

Game-changer for marching band ergonomics
On behalf of my son, who plays tenor sax in a high school marching band: He says this distributes the weight of the sax so it doesn't feel like it's completely pushing down on his shoulders. It feels more balanced. Game-changer. If you don't already know, marching band has kids on their feet carrying their instruments for many hours at a time. My son has put this one to the test for ergonomics and durability for a full season of marching. So far, so good.

Wonderful, but user must adjust
I’m a 69 yo man who played alto as a youth. I would say that the last time I played was 40 years ago. I’m retired and decided to climb back aboard. The weight of the alto was a consideration at my age and I bought both an alto and soprano at the same time and got a great deal. The neck strap was still an issue that I was looking to address when I ran across this item. Without hesitation, I bought one. Everything great you read is true. The wearer needs to know that your horn hangs differently. On the soprano, it relieves pressure on your right thumb, but it also dangles and try making a high D. It wants to swing. There’s a learning curve and it’s well worth the journey. No more neck strain and my shoulders hardly notice. Wonderful.

I like it, but it has a couple things that could be improved.
This strap really takes the pressure off your neck and redistributes it so your sax feels like its floating. It's easily adjustable and folds down compact enough to carry in a bag (but not a case). My first complaint is that the bottom foot tends to slide back and forth a lot and can sometimes leave you in an awkward playing position if you move around a bit while you play. Second, is that when fully cinched up, it leaves an alto sax just slightly below proper playing position. If it could bring up an alto by about an inch, it would be perfect. Third, you can't really let your sax dangle with this as the support bar will bump against it. Its comfortable enough to keep one hand on your sax though, so if you really need both hands, just put your sax down.

Must have for saxophone players!
Wish I had known about this when I started playing. It puts the weight of the instrument on your shoulders and not your neck. It's very easy to take on and off. You will have to carry it outside the case, but it's well worth it. It comes with a carrying sack. It's got a deep hook, and there's no risk of the saxophone coming loose and falling. There are comments of the sax "floating" in front of you--it's true!
