Ultimate Fighting Trashies Battle Pack

My son moves the trashies but it has a few big flaws. First the trashies have to be attatchment to a TINY plastic disk in order to be placed on the lid. 2. You can't battle with this set alone so more need to be purchased. 3 when you press the bottom to release the spinning lid it rubs very hard and fast on your finger. There should have been another piece of plastic over the button so that it spins under and not on it. If you are not quick it will slow the lid and not really work at all. I think he would have enjoyed it more if they had worked more often.

I gave this to my grandson....turning 5......who wanted the "trashies" in the worst way........they were an instant hit!

My 7 year old son really likes the Trash Pack guys. This arena, however, was very disappointing to me. It is made of very flimsy plastic (picture the type of plastic that is often used for packaging. Not the tough kind you have to cut with scissors to open, but the kind that you can rip open with just the strength of your hands. Could probably use large mixing bowl instead...

This glowmania arena is a little bit different from the first issue battle arena. First off this is made of see through green plastic. Also this is just one molded piece with higher walls (the old area had removable fences around the edge and lower molded walls). We have not used this yet as it is a christmas present for my son, but I think that this new design will keep the warriors in the arena much better. I will ammend this review at a later date after we use it and verify if this is the case. You get one spinner and one limited edition uft trashy, either sir trash a lot or stink splatter. These uft spinners are pretty fun overall but there are a few little tricks to know before hand to avoid some issues. The first being, don't overwind them. To get them to work, you wind them in one direction. You will begin to feel it getting more and more tension, and then you will hear a loud click. At this point stop winding it. If you don't, eventually it will strip out the spring and it just won't work as well anymore. It will still work, it will just spin very slowly which isn't nearly as much fun. Getting the hang of just how much to wind and how to release it properly so that it spins fast can be a little frustrating for younger kids. Secondly, whatever you do, do not accidently push in or bump the red buttons on the side while you are winding. This will cause the bottom to shoot off in whichever direction it is pointing...which can be dangerous. We have had a few close calls with these things whizzing by our heads before we learned this lesson. Overall, this is a fun toy and if you are careful it can provide lots of enjoyment for trash pack fans both young and old.
