Classic Ouija with 1990s Artwork by Winning Moves Games, Thick Wood Premium Quality Talking Spirit Board, for 2 or More Players, Ages 8 and Up (1175)

I like this because it hasn’t really changed for the last few decades. I know that there is a lot of negative connotation with this, but the photo that I shared is from a video series that I was a part of on the queen Mary in Long Beach that is reportedly very haunted. we used it for the session on video and had no issues and I got to teach the two other people there how to properly conduct a Ouija board session. The product itself and the box came in good quality there’s no wear and tear or deterioration is thick quality plastic , and I plan on using it more in the future . Overall cost amount of time that it took to arrive, the weight in the value, and the size are perfect and standard to what I expected if not better.

So, the first couple times I tried it, it didn't work (I just got it like 2 days ago), so I tried last night with my sister, and it worked! I said "Are you male or female?" and it slowly moved to F-E-M-A-L and I had to say "Stop, I need to stop, my heart is beating really fast, can you go to goodbye for me?" (My heart was being so hard and fast, it was starting to hurt.) It slid to goodbye and I was shaking. Then we tried again, it was the same female. She was 30 years old, we asked "Do you like us?" and it said Y-E-S. We asked if it was the sun or the moon, it went to the sun. I said "Would you ever cause us any harm?" and it said N-O. Now I know it could be lying but I still enjoyed the experience. I cant wait to play again tonight. And it is kind of wooden, very sturdy.UPDATE:Okay, so I still love it, but, the actual planchette, on the bottom (the legs), the soft black part/material on them is coming off, creating a really loud squeaking noise when I move it, that's kind of annoying, ill find a way to fix it, I guess just make sure you're careful with it because it's a pain in the ass to try to stick back onAnother UPDATE: 4-6-16Yeah I dont even play it anymore, everytime I play I get someone ridiculous like "Mama" or "Satan", in reality I think it's either a spirit trying to play a trick on me or my subconcious because I read so much of that stuff, either way, it's really annoying, I can't even get someone to buy it but I just do not want it anymore. oh and btw, may or may not be a ghost, sometimes in the morning, me and my sister, who's 14, will hear what sounds like someone putting a glass down on the counter, all the while my dad is asleep and we have no animals in the house, so yeah it's weird, doesn't scare me, just kinda strange, and a cabinet has slammed twice. So maybe this is really ghosts, I don't know, I'm just saying, if you buy this, this may or may not happen. I'm sure alot of people will think I'm lying but I'm not, I have no reason to, I wouldn't even waste my time, like I said, I'm not scared, I just really want it gone. It’s not fancy, but it is what it is. I like that the board is small enough to fit inside the box without the fold you see on many game boards; that would have ruined the feel for sure. The planchette is cheap plastic, but I think it’s fitting for the price and also for the camp appeal of an inexpensive, mass-produced board game that is supposed to put you in communication with the spirit world.There are no instructions or other material inside the box apart from the board and the planchette, unless you count the lightweight cardboard tray keeps them in place. Everything the manufacturer wants to tell you about your new Ouija board is communicated on the outside of the box. The spin is a lot more “magic 8 ball, fun at tween sleepovers” than “open a portal to another dimension and summon supernatural entities”. Still, I wasn’t able to find any mention of the product on Hasbro’s website. It simply wasn’t there, rubbing elbows with Scattergories and Peppa Pig Monopoly. Mind, this is the same site where they have Risk and something called The Lie Detector Adult Party Game, for ages 16+. I noticed the age recommendation on the Ouija board’s box is 8+, which sounds about right if they are hoping to spawn a ‘Paranormal Activity’ reboot.Game play was pretty exciting! I set it up and played alone while I waited out an excruciatingly long antivirus update on my computer. In no time I had a compelling message from the beyond: “P-R-_”, the third spin landing on a featureless blank area of the board. Encouraged, I kept playing. The wealth of insight and wisdom coming through the oracle was truly astounding, evinced by such proclamations as “L-T-Yes-Moon” and “B-R-9-M-Q-F-H-D-4”.Fresh off that towering success, next I tried to meet someone. I was hoping for H.P. Lovecraft, Aleister Crowley, or maybe even Sorrell Booke, but instead I communicated with an entity I believe to be a manifestation of Ellen Burstyn, who is still alive. She had plenty to say about the back injury she suffered while filming ‘The Exorcist’.All in all, this has been a great game so far, and I wouldn’t hesitate to trust its input while making important life decisions, like whether I should move to Indiana, take up snorkeling, or try the new sugar-free incarnation of my favorite citrus soda.
