The Deep End (Diary of a Wimpy Kid #15) (Volume 15)

My 9-year-old son wanted this book because it was the one he had not read in the series. He read it so fast my head spun! These books are really fun.

Hey folks, just wanted to share my thoughts on the latest "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" book, "The Deep End." I gotta say, Jeff Kinney keeps the humor train rolling with this one. I mean, who knew a family road trip could be so hilarious?The thing I love about this book is how it dives into the awkwardness of being a kid, and it does it in a way that's both funny and relatable. Greg Heffley's misadventures are as classic as ever, and the doodles scattered throughout really bring the whole thing to life. It's like you're right there with him on the road, dealing with all the craziness.Now, I'll be real with you – if you've been a fan of the series, the format might feel familiar, and the humor's in the same witty vein. But here's the twist – the Heffley family is on the move! The whole cross-country journey adds a cool new dynamic, keeping things fresh and entertaining.In the end, "The Deep End" is a solid addition to the Wimpy Kid saga. It's got that signature humor we all love, and it manages to sneak in some real talk about growing up. If you're a fan or just looking for a good laugh, give it a go. Jeff Kinney doesn't disappoint.

My son is a Steve Uriel junior and the absolute cutes thing ever, he loves this books and he spends hours reading them. He likes to tell me all about the different funny parts and will read sections to me and even bring it cuddle and us read together. I can’t get enough of moments like this.Great book for grades 2-4

This might be one of my favorite books in the DOAWK series, I haven't finished it but it's AWESOME. It arrived in a very nice package and it was well protected.

My older son is 10 and has developed a bit of a love for these books, as my constant battle to find things he enjoys reading continues. I tried him with some of these on our kindle, and he actually said he liked them and enjoyed reading them but would prefer the physical books, so I picked up a couple of the more recent books in the series.These books are a good transition from less wordy graphic novels that he typically gravitates towards - dog man, mr. wolf - into a more traditional chapter type novel. Slow progress on his reading path, but at least progress.He's enjoyed these books and typically reads them to himself when he goes to bed. He's read them cover to cover and I'll for sure buy more books in the series this Christmas.
